Little piece of Heaven

Having visited this site a couple of time and about to return next week, we can't recommend and compliment this site enough. The wardens are great, very welcoming, friendly and approachable. They keep the site amazingly clean, they are readily on hand to provide helpful tips and advice about the local area. The enclosed dog walking area is a perfect place to site watching the world peacefully passing by, whilst knowing your beloved dog is safely letting of steam and having the time of his life. This is the perfect base to travel round the picturesque villages and beech's on Anglesey. Whilst the site its self is very little person friendly with a lovely like play ground, and safe area within the middle of the site for everyone to enjoy a quick game and run around. Would highly recommend

Quiet & relaxing

Stayed here for five nights & have to say it's a very peaceful & relaxing location. Found Angelsey good for walks & pubs & the views of snowdonia are superb. Check out the old quarry at Holyhead for great walks & the breeze inn hotel in Benllach for good food & service, they also welcome dogs.

Enjoyable visit

We have just returned from 5 nights at Penrhos and had a very enjoyable stay. The site is very well maintained by very helpful wardens who also keep the toilet block very clean. The pitches are large and well spaced and the site is situated in a country setting but not far beaches and shopping.

April at Penrhos

This was our first visit to Penrhos and we could only stay for three nights. Very enjoyable, very clean and tidy, and a nice quiet site where the wardens were very helpful.

excellent stay

Just returned from a ten day stay weather was not the best but we still had a great time, The wardens are doing a excellent job, they make your stay enjoyable, always smiling what ever they where doing, we can nit fault this site and have been visiting for the last 5 years and still find it a excellent base, Toilets and showers always kept very clean and tidy even during very wet weather. A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT>

Our First Visit

Penrhos is an excellent site.  It is quiet, peaceful, first class wardens, good hardstandings.  We spent three nights there last week.  There is a popular and good (evidence of one visit) restaurant over the golf club about 15 minutes walk away. The only problem is the motorhome service point.  It is awkward to get to.  I had to go round the loop and then reverse over the waste point.  This was not easy, in  a mid-sized motorhome of 7 metres length. The waste point is covered by a heavy lid.  It is impossible to lift this when you are over it, so you need to lift it, then reverse over it without your wheel falling into the drain!  The designer was not a motorhomer! This is a general moan and should not detract from what is a site I would be happy to visit again and again.

Another fantastic visit

Ever time we visit there have been changes this time more hardstandings.  The site was full when we arrived in late September but the pitches are well spaced and very well kept so didn't appear crowded.  Lots of places to visit in Anglesey so you need to get out there and explore.  No fish & chips van, wardens advised a visit to the Benllech fish & chips shop.  Turned out to be the best we've had so well worth a visit.
