Our CL is a tranquil site, set in a garden situation almost surrounded by trees but we do have views of surrounding hills. We have 5 acres wooded Dog walk adjoining. The site is approx 2 acres with spacious lawned pitches which are flat or partly sloping. All pitches are numbered and of generous size with 16 amp electrical hook ups.

We have Tennis courts adjacent and are free to members. The CL is centrally located and is ideal for long stays and touring. The Bus stop at the site entrance gives an hourly access to all First Group bus routes. Takeaway food is available and can be delivered to your caravan by at least 3 suppliers. The local Pub/Shop/Fish and Chips/ATM's are just 1 mile. Free transport available if you have a large Motorhome.  We also have a shop rider mobility scooter available, if needed, for local use.

Nearby towns of St. Austell and Newquay offer all the main supermarkets etc. Nearby Charlestown is an historic seaport and the location and set for many films including The Eagle Has Landed. We are also located quite close to the Eden project.

Excellent Stay

Frenton Farm
We have just had a 5 night stay at this lovely CL site. It is situated in a village and conveniently located to visit Newquay, Truro, Mevagissey and Padstow to name but a few. It is a flat site with grass and hard standing pitches all with EHU . A really quiet peaceful location would definitely recommend it. The owner meets you as you arrive to show you the perfect pitch to suit your outfit which is great especially to newbie motorhome owners like us. We will definitely be back

lovely site

Frenton Farm
We have used this site many times , at least twice a year (usually 3 times) . The last time we visited was September 2021 when Colin, the owner was quite frail. We was due to come again after Christmas but unfortunately had to cancel, at the time of cancelling we was told that Colin had recently died. We booked again for our usual 2 weeks in June, concerned that the site may not be as well kept or as welcoming. We needn't have worried as the site is still pristeen and is now run by Colins Son & daughter-in-law. The site no longer has a resident dog as since Colins death it has been re-homed. My only piece of advice to anyone wishing to book this perfect site is to telephone rather than email, as they are currently having trouble accessing Colins email address. Please give the new custodians a chance as this site is tranquil and is perfectly sited to tour Cornwall.

Frenton Farm
23 January 2022. I have just spent the week at Frenton Farm. The site is now run by the son and daughter-in-law of the owners mentioned in other reviews and both were friendly and welcoming in true Cornish fashion. I am a dog owner and despite reading the reviews about the owners’ rescued German Shepherd dog attacking a member’s dog when visiting, I decided to give the site a go as it is one of only a few sites which is open all year round. I am pleased to inform and reassure everyone that, whilst the dog is still there, the owners have taken measures to ensure that such an event should not recur; including creating a confined area for it to be in at the owner’s house and working with professionals to rehabilitate the dog. A couple of things to note when visiting: There are no on-site shower or toilet facilities and the approach to the site from the main road needs to be negotiated with care for owners of larger/twin axle caravans. Overall the site peaceful, well maintained and perfect for relaxing on-site or (being situated pretty much in the middle of Cornwall) travelling around the county. I concur with the many comments which reflect that this is a gem of a site. I will be returning.

Great Site

Frenton Farm
We stayed here for four nights in our Motorhome in September. This site is very well kept with two level hard standing pitches for Motorhomes. Excellent and well organised recycling facilities. The grass is kept mown and the clippings collected. There is another five pitch CL adjoining. They are separate to one another. There is a dog walk through woodland for dog owners. The Wi-Fi is excellent and works well, especially if you’re researching places of interest. The site is on a bus route, but being a rural area, services are limited, so we didn’t use them. A good tip for Motorhome owners is the fishing village of Mevagissey which isn’t far away and has Motorhome parking in the Willow Car Park, which is only five minutes walk from the centre of the village and harbour. We enjoyed our stay.

Would recommend this site

Frenton Farm
This is first time we have been to this site and will be returning. Colin welcomed us to our pitch. The site is ideal for exploring Cornwall. Colin comes round every day with his dog to have a check that everything is ok. it is kept very neat tidy. Getting to places of interest is very easy. The only thing would like to point out that the left hand side CL if you have a twin axle Lunar you will not get out the bottom gate as the van is lower than most vans. We have a BMW and Lunar twin and got stuck its OK for every other van. thank you both for an enjoyable stay. Geoff & Margaret
