Wayback Farm CL  is located on a working farm in the Essex countryside. We are a unique site aimed at families travelling with their pets and have 5 individually fenced grassed pitches perfectly designed for those who want to bring their dogs and allow them the freedom to enjoy the pitch off-lead, providing a more relaxing and pleasurable stay for both people and pets.

We also have 4 individual fenced horse paddocks (electric fences) for anyone wanting to bring their own horse or pony to ride the beautiful Essex bridleways, which are within the immediate vicinity of Wayback Farm.

This is an ideal location that provides access to open countryside and the coast. The River Crouch is within 2 miles and the River Blackwater, the River Chelmer, Blackwater Navigation Canals and the historic town of Maldon are less than 5 miles away.

This location is ideal for anyone wanting to just enjoy the countryside or to get active with cycling, dog walking, riding, kayaking, paddle boarding as well as visiting some of the famous landmark sites close by, such as Maldon Sea Salt, Tiptree Jam factory and Maldon Oysters.

There are plenty of local friendly pubs . The Norton in cold Norton is within walking distance and dog friendly. Others close by are;

• The Prince of Wales at Stow Maries
• The Bell at Purleigh

The Village shop is within 1 mile and 24 hour garage within 2 miles plus supermarkets and high street less than 5 miles away.

We aim to provide an environmentally conscious site and ask all guests to use green bio capsules in chemical toilets during their stay. We have an onsite toilet for guests to use and provided bins for recycling and composting of food waste.

Although our pitches are non-electric we plan to offer a charging point powered by solar energy in 2024.
