Excellent site

This was our first stay at a CL and we were really impressed. Good electrical connection, and scenery to make you think you were in France. Owner very helpful, will definitely return. If you can't be bothered to cook, then treat yourself at Glewstone Court, just a few minutes walk away to complete the experience.

August Holiday.

We stayed on this site as Two families for two weeks in August. We had a very warm welcome from Andrew. We were provided with a map of the farm so that we could walk our dogs and the two grandchildren could ride their bikes safely around the beautiful orchards. We were provided with black sacks for all of our rubbish, and more sacks were readily available. The site is kept immaculate, and very peaceful. We were also fortunate enough to meet Andrews wife Heather, another very warm welcome from her, and lots of time chatting to them both. My Husband enjoyed an afternoon fishing on the lake and caught a very nice carp. None of us wanted to leave, but unfortunately the boys had to return for school. We came as visitors but feel we left as friends, we will definitely be returning. Thank you Andrew and Heather, and of course Lilly the dog. From Linda, Brad, Vanessa, Chris, Isaac and Aston. Our dogs Winnie and Amber xxx ps. We've only given five stars, because we couldn't give more.

Great CL

Stayed here for a couple of nights on a midweek break (Two adults, two children). The owners were very welcoming and provided maps of the local area, including local walks and the facilities in Ross-on-Wye. The site itself is very well cared for and is quiet - our kids could go round on their bikes safely on the tracks. It is perfectly located for Ross and other local attractions such as the Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat. Will definitely visit again :)

Tranquility

Stayed here 4 nights last week, our first visit but it will not be our last. We were on the upper field which is in the middle of the orchards, pears to the front and apples behind. Ideal location for Ross On Wye, Forest of Dean,Hereford, and also trips into Wales, we visited both Monmouth (10 miles), and Abergavenny (25 miles). Site is very good, nice short grass & the owners are very welcoming, and also gave us a map to help us out locally. We will be back in 2020.
