Little Gem

Little Halden Place Farm (formerly Bryn Nwydd)
Having just returned home from a 3night stay at Little Halden Place Farm. I can say it's a beautiful quiet site surrounded with wonderful view's across the country side. With grass pitch & EHU what more could you want. No need for a shower block or loo's as that would take off the charm of Evelyn Luck's peaceful CL Site. Evelyn Luck is a friendly knowledgeable country women, with endless life time tales. The site is very easy to access, with security. Plenty of space between pitches. Pleasant dog walk's from site, including a safe field for dogs allowed to run free. Will most defiantly be returning. Mel&Neil and Jess

A wonderful well kept site to stay for peace and tranquillity

Little Halden Place Farm (formerly Bryn Nwydd)
My husband and I visited Little Halden Place Farm at the weekend for a short 2 night stay. We are new to motor-homing and this is the first stay on a certified site with no toilet or shower facilities. I called Evelyn the afternoon before we arrived - she was so helpful and accommodated us by a barn and chicken run with electric supply and nearby water tap. The views were stunning, the site peaceful and tranquil. Evelyn and her helper Dave keep the farm in immaculate condition. This really is a gem of a find and we will definitely return, largely because the farm was perfect for our cocker spaniel who loved the local walks across farmland and the field in front of us where he could play safely. But also, Evelyn and her lovely dog Dodger, who are such great company and couldn’t have done anymore to make us feel so very welcome and the flexible approach taken to arrival and departure times which you don’t get on large campsites. What an amazing lady - thank you!

So peaceful

Little Halden Place Farm (formerly Bryn Nwydd)
A really relaxing and peaceful CL. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief visit and will definitely return. Excellent views, especially enjoyed seeing the KESR steam train in the distance. A warm welcome from the owner on arrival.

Great little site!

Little Halden Place Farm (formerly Bryn Nwydd)
Came for a long weekend as it was fairly easy to get to from home and we wanted to see the KSER railway. Site is very peaceful with lovely views, fresh water tap and hookup direct on each pitch. No toilets/shower etc which is absolutely fine for us and sort of adds to the unspoilt atmosphere of this charming site surrounded by fields. It rained leading up to our arrival and heavily on the second day but the grass seemed to be very well drained and didn't get boggy or muddy. Stunning views across to Tenderden and you can see the steam trains running past from the pitch. Evelyn and her adorable pup Dodger were very welcoming.... Will definitely be back!

Warm welcome to a beautiful site

Little Halden Place Farm (formerly Bryn Nwydd)
This site was booked the evening before we turned up. Evelyn was warm and welcoming, as was her dog Dodger! The location is stunning, with incredible views over the fields to Tenterden. We walked from the site to Tenterden, mainly across fields, which took about 25-30 minutes. There is a new Tap Room by the station, selling craft beers, ales and cider. The cider was delicious, and views incredible. Tenterden is pretty, with interesting shops. Although there are no toilets and showers on the camp site, it did not detract from the welcome and views. We parked by the field, and one of the cows allowed me to stroke it. There are chickens who like attention too! We will definitely be back.
