Ideal for the NEC

Victoria Farm

Stayed here for one night as we were visiting the NEC the next day. Coming from Lincolnshire the site was perfectly situated for us. The entrance was a tad tight - it was obvious by the knocks on the bricks that some outfits hadn't quite negotiated the entrance. There is also a B&B on site, so when we arrived the owners were outside welcoming the B&B guests, this meant we didn't have to leave our motorhome to book in - we too were greeted at the barrier, given the key code for the barrier and told where we could pitch up and where all the services etc were. We paid there and then - it was that simple. It is £15 and not £12.50 as advertised on the web page. I noticed one review mentioned the traffic noise - yes - there was some traffic noise - but not as much as to disturb. We both slept soundly. We have certainly been on far noisier sites than this. Lovely views over the fields.  We didn't use the facilities so can't offer any reviews on those.

Too noisy for me!

Victoria Farm
Easy to find and easily accessible, although some may find the entrance a little tight. Nice welcome and all important areas pointed out. Showers and toilets clean.  Surcharge for use of shower.  Beautiful views and direct access to walk onto the Fosse Way. I was disappointed to find that there were more than five vans in the field, although the field is something like 4 acres, y' know the rules are 5 vans only!  Finally, the reason I won't be returning is that our van backed onto the A5 (I think), and the traffic was none stop all night. ... not a good night's sleep at all. Such a shame as the rest of venue was lovely.

A last minute surprise

Victoria Farm
Was not intending to use this site as we had booked into one a bit nearer Coventry, when we arrived we found it was not suitable. Made a phone call to Victoria Farm and they looked after us with only 15 minutes notice before we arrived. Site was fantastic with views for miles. Did not use toilets or showers as we always use our caravan. It is a site that we will want to use again. Very helpful.
