Why stay here ...

Having been caravanners, ourselves, for 42 years, we have tried to keep up with the needs of our caravanners by offering all hard standings, electric hook-ups, water and grey waste connections to each pitch, making a stay at our CL very enjoyable and easy for all. The site itself is a very well maintained lawned area of  0.75 of an acre surrounded by shrubs and trees and the pitches are all well spaced. Recycling is encouraged.

Holt, our nearest town is just a mile away and has a wide variety of individual shops, including 'Bakers and Larners' which some claim to be the 'Harrods' of Norfolk, numerous coffee shops and antique shops. The surrounding area boasts a number of very fine restaurants, and for those who like a bargain, weekly markets at neighbouring towns.

The site is on a bus route for Holt, Sheringham, Cromer, Fakenham, Norwich and King's Lynn. The 'Coast Hopper' can be accessed at Sheringham and follows the coast road to Cley, Blakeney, Wells next the Sea, Burnham Market, Hunstanton and King's Lynn (so bring your bus passes - should you be mature enough to have one!!)

We are fortunate to have numerous National Trust properties, plus Sandringham, within 20 miles, also the nature reserves of Cley, Blakeney and Titchwell and the beautiful sandy beaches of Holkham and Wells next the Sea, within 10 miles.

Roger and Marjorie look forward to welcoming you to their CL.

Would you please be kind enough to provide your own water hose and grey waste pipe.

Advanced booking advised. No dogs. Fully serviced pitches.

Bed and Breakfast available.

A beautiful site, run by experienced and friendly caravaners

Coney Heath
We stayed at Coney Heath for a couple of nights recently and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Roger and Marjorie are wonderful hosts, their site perfectly located near the Norfolk coast. We ventured out for a 7mi walk around Weybourne, taking in great views. There is a lovely pub within 1mi walking distance (Hunsworth), which is also worth a visit. Absolutely recommended and will definitely visit again.

Lovely!

Coney Heath
Coney Heath was the perfect site for our very first outing ever having just bought our motor home. The owners were delightful and made us so welcome. They keep the site perfectly manicured. A real bonus for us was the bus stop right outside. There is some noise from the road at times but this didn’t concern us and it isn’t constant. We shall return if they’ll have us!

Short stay in Norfolk

Coney Heath
We’ve just returned home from a short two night stay at Coney Heath CL. The reason for our visit was to go to Norwich Cathedral and it was perfect to do so. The bus can be hailed at the entrance and goes to Holt, a very attractive town inland from Cromer and Sherringham. From there the bus takes you to Norwich and its superb Cathedral. We were lucky to arrive in time for the guided tour which is to be recommended. Small details which would have been missed brought the history of the building to life and our guide Rachel had a wealth of knowledge to share. Don’t miss it. The CL site is excellent and could only be improved with a toilet. It is perfectly situated for visiting the many places of interest and is a haven of calm. Unfortunately the owners were not resident during our stay but had communicated with us by email and telephone prior to us arriving, accommodating our stay at short notice. Local knowledge and help with the facilities was provided by a very friendly couple who were also staying on the site at the time. This comes highly recommended by previous visitors and endorsed by us.

Cracking CL site

Coney Heath
Just stayed here for 5 nights and were lucky with the weather for this time of year. Access was easy even with a 7.8m caravan. Took the furthest pitch from the road (No one else on site) and parked sideways in. All amenities, water, waste very conveniently placed. This site even has a TV aerial and cable to each pitch which we made use of. Good hardstanding pitch made the caravan very stable. Yes there is road noise but but not obtrusive. Easy access to Holt (1 mile) and sherringham (6 miles). We used gas for heating and electric for fridge ,microwave and a few other appliances and over the 5 nights the total was £19.00, but we did use a full 6kg gas bottle. Overall very enjoyable and we would return when next in the area.

Our best CL yet

Coney Heath
What a fabulous site. Clean, well kept and lovely owners, who go out of their way to help make your stay easy and enjoyable. Take no notice of the ONE negative review. Some people will find anything to nit pick about. There is a little road noise at certain times of the day but thats fairly normal for most sites, as you need a road to get there don't you? On arrival we found we had no power. We checked the fuse box but could find no reason for it. I phoned Mrs Doy and she said they were out but would come back within 20 mins. We later found out they were having a belated fathers day lunch paid for by their daughter but never the less they abandoned the meal to come and help us. Roger thought it could be our cable and tried a spare he had. That did the trick. Between leaving home and hooking up our cable had failed. The pitch was level and the electric hookup and water waste were visable and easy to use. The notice board had a map of walks and cycle rides easily visable. We couldn't fault the site and a huge thank you to Roger and Marjorie for making our stay enjoyable and for their help in sorting out our problem. It's no wonder people go back again and again. Tony and Lynne
