The site is set overlooking our five acre meadow with a wood on the boundary all of which you are invited to explore.
We are at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds which is an ideal walking and cycling area. There is a village shop, Post Office, Butcher and there is a pub about one mile away.
Pocklington Market town (Tuesday) is four miles away with local shops, supermarkets, gardens and the local canal.
York is seven miles away and is accessed by Park and Ride. Castle Howard, Beningbrough Hall are both within easy reach.

A nice peaceful site.
The Hollies
We visited this site last on the weekend of July 29th to 31st inclusive. This site is lovely and peaceful, Mr Herbert is a lovely polite gentleman, there is a nice walk around the site with seats to rest on, the site is handy for places to visit like Pocklington, Market Weighton, Stamford Bridge & York etc.
We have been to this site on several occasions and we shall continue to visit in the future, the only downside is the site doesn't have electricity but we get by without it.

What a lovely site and what a lovely owner nothing is too much for Mr Herbert. The only facilities are Water and Elsan Point but that’s ok with modern on board facilities. Perfect for visiting York, as park and ride is not all that far away. Very peaceful site and some nice walks straight from your door ( Motorhome or Caravan ) plenty of wildlife if you are prepared to sit quietly. We last visited in 2019 but will certainly be going as soon as we can this season so looking forward to that.

Great battery only site ,lovely welcome great location so peaceful and laid back.nice flat lawn to pitch on with water close by.
If you like your wildlife then you will love this site it's all around you and owner invites you to explore via path cut into grass all kinds of birds to see and deer in back field by the woods
York close by with all its attractions pocklington around the corner for supplies and lots of cafes and wine bars for a pleasant drink
Yorkshires costal resorts are easy to reach , all in all fantastic site
Booked another two weekends can't wait.

A very nice, quiet little site. All grass and level. The owner is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Looking forward to my visit.
