Why stay here ...
We are situated in Somerset's famous farming community. We are in a beautifully secluded, quiet garden, bordered by the River Sheppey with an acre of meadow on our southern side and Burcott Lane to the East.
During your stay enjoy our covered riverside seating and BBQ area where you might just see otters, kingfishers, heron and much more! There is stepped access down to the river where you can have a paddle and cross the river, or using the local footpath, cross over to the adjacent playing field and a well equipped children’s playground.
We offer a large, peaceful garden that is flat and level on a well kept lawn. We welcome all caravans, smaller motorhomes, awnings, children, and pets (please keep all dogs on leads and under control at all times and clean up accidents after you).
Adjacent to the site there is a one acre semi secure field for you to walk your furry friends, this is especially nice along the river bank. Please note this is sometimes shared with the local farmers' sheep with several longer walks accessible across the nearby fields.
Enhanced security as our site is totally enclosed and protected by electric gates & CCTV cameras.

- Cycling routes, including SUSTRANS route No3 that runs along the Strawberry Line (a traffic free route across Somerset) is not far away. A choice of four RSPB reserves nearby to see the famous Murmurations between November & March
- The famous Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar & Cheddar Gorge, 15-20 minutes away
- Bath & West Showground hosts a varied selection of special events
- For shoppers, Clarks village is 15 minutes away with approximately 90 shops of discounted merchandise including their quality shoes
- The Fleet Air Arm Museum and the Haynes motor museum, 30 minutes away

- Bristol with its Malls and large selection of shops, restaurants and theatres

Spot On
Riverside
The whole ambience of this CL was one of peace, friendliness and assistance. The site is set in effectively the property of the owner and is obviously treated as such. At one end of the site is a little river which has fish and there are several places on the site to relax and have a drink etc and one is beside the river. The grass is mowed, everything is tidy - it's just fab.
The owners, Roger and Michelle are tirelessly helpful without being intrusive, and in my case significantly went the extra mile to help.
Adjacent to the site there is a dog walking area and there are so many things to do in the area.
I recommend this site to you without reservation.

Riverside
A beautiful level site near to Wells. Site is very well maintained with excellent Wi-Fi a recreation ground is a short walk away. Plenty to see and do in the area. Very welcoming and helpful owners who are keen to make your stay enjoyable. Nothing is too much trouble for them. We will definitely be back.
Best CL of our 3 week tour in England this year
Riverside
We booked for 3 nights at this well situated CL between Wells and Glastonbury. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra 2 nights. The owners are so welcoming and cannot do enough to help you. It's a realtively new venture for them and they have got off to a great start. There is so much to do and see in the near vicinity and public transport is excellent if required.Ten out of ten to them for helping to make Somerset our new favourite English County. We would love to return.

Riverside
It would be impossible to overstate what a gem of a CL Riverside is! A beautiful, relaxed, immaculate and peaceful site in a beautiful and well situated spot in the Somerset countryside. We were there for two weeks and would very happily have stayed longer. Michelle and Roger and Barnaby the dog give THE warmest of welcomes, it is no exaggeration to say nothing is too much trouble. We arrived as guests and left as friends. We will return!

So glad to have picked this beautiful site, its immaculate and the owners' wish to improve further. Lots of seating areas to enjoy and soak in the relaxing atmosphere, clean and organised waste and recycling facilities. Lovely owners and pups, would love to stay again when next in the area.
