Exceptional

A warm welcome, a top quality CL in every way, what more could you ask for? Our four night stay was nowhere near long enough to do justice to the places of interest in the locality. We need to revisit. Adult only, deep joy, and the best C.E.P. I've used for a very long time. Thank you!

Brilliant site

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved the site. We found entry to the field simple if you follow the directions to turn at the junction 150m up the road. There are ample electric hookups surrounding the large field with drinking water and grey waste outlets adjacent. We were given a most informative file with all that was needed to enjoy the surrounding area. Being motorhomers we found the hourly bus service perfect for getting to the hub of Halifax bus station even on a Sunday. As an added bonus the drivers are happy for you to flag them down between stops and we were even dropped off at the site gate! This is a great site with lovely views and we shall certainly return.

A Little Gem

A fabulous site for peace and quiet. A nice walk to the Alma Public House followed by a night cap at The Rushcart Inn made for a good nights sleep. Unfortunatly the following morning my old camper was stuck in the soft ground. £11 camping fee and £20 to be towed out by the local farmer! Not a happy bunny.

What a gem

Sometimes you just come upon a gem of a site, and this is one such site. A flat site in this area is rare and very handy for local places of interest. Enjoyed!! cycling up Crag vale, the route of the 2014 Tour de France. Dave & Leslie were very welcoming and the site was perfectly kept. As said on one of the other revues, the U turn to the entrance is no problem, just use the next road junction to turn around.

Ideal Location

We visited this site recently and the first thing that strikes you on driving in are the stunning views. Site is very spacious with lots of variety for pitching, allowing plenty of space between units also 3 water taps combined with hook up and grey water drain. Do not be put off by the U turn to enter site as we found this wasn't a problem. Ideal for visiting Calder Valley with it's many places of interest.
