Why stay here ...

Hillveiw Country Park is situated off Birch Lane, it is a very pleasant and peaceful site with electric and water to each pitch. The usual disposal facilities are available, also more facilities are under construction which will include toilets shower and a washing machine facility also a small lounge area with information centre.

There are fabulous views to the west of the Malvern hills and surrounding country side we are within 10 minutes’ drive from the M5 & M50 motorways, Upton Upon Severn is a 5 min drive from us and is a delightful riverside town with music festivals right through the season and much more too, for those who would like a more placid pace there is a river trip to be had aboard the Conway Castle where the world slips by at a slower pace.

We are in easy access to Worcester, Tewksbury and to the east lies Pershore and the Vale of Evesham all very special and interesting places with Abbey’s and Worcester Cathedral the list is endless ,if something more rural is needed the 3 counties show ground may suit where all kinds of events are staged all year round.

Crome courts, owned by The National Trust, is 5 min drive away with its superb Capability Brown landscaped grounds, or take refreshment at the cafe or visit the recently opened air museum.

Malvern is a 20 min ride away with stunning walks or go to St Anne’s Well and take what some say are life giving natural spring waters

Children welcome, however we cannot accept dogs.

All in all a place well worth a visit.

Wonderful stay!

Stayed here for 5 nights, easy to find, good directions. Really convenient for the M5 great stop over or longer stay in our case. Shower is a work in progress but very clean. Water and ehu on every pitch, friendly owners, came bearing fruit tarts, for us ! A pleasant stop as an alternative to the club site at Tewksbury, this will be our new stop over from the north west. Also good pubs nearby !

Beware of the chickens!!

What a lovely site. Mr & Mrs Williams were friendly - and their chickens were even friendlier! We arrived the week after the toilet and shower were commissioned, and we can report that they are of the highest quality. The building is an on-going project, but the facilities are in good working order. As it says in the name, there are views of a hill - a whole range of them. Look the other way and you can spot the top of the Panorama Tower at Croome just a short distance away. On certain days this is open to the public (https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/croome/features/panorama-tower), but you can still walk up the hill to see it at any time. There is a little noise from the motorway depending on the direction of the wind, and the odd aeroplane flies over, but generally very peaceful. The eggs are excellent, too.

A Wonderful Find

This CL is great for peace and quiet - just what we were looking for. Its not in the Sites Directory yet but Mr Williams- the owner will email joining instructions. Best to follow these and approach from the Kinnersley end of Birch Lane. The CL is gated and a key to padlock is issued on arrival. The site in pan flat, the pitches large and each is served by EHU and own fresh water tap. The owner has just completed a toilet and shower unit and has plans to fit a washing machine. There are excellent views of the Malvern Hills. Upton on Severn is 4 miles away, Pershore 5 miles, Malvern 12 miles and NT Croome 2 miles. All are worth a visit. Its a good area for cycling, sitting just off one of the national cycle routes - 45(?). Plenty of footpaths also close by. No dogs allowed as owner's chickens roam the paddock. One small downside - some background "white noise" from the M5, but you only notice it if the wind is from the east. Overall - highly recommended.
