Recent stay

Dryslwyn
Stayed on this lovely site for 7 nights from 13.6.23. Wonderful weather required frequent visits to the beautiful coast where it was much cooler! Very peaceful site, each pitch level and separated by means of hedging and opposite a field with horses grazing. The surrounding area has much to offer. Surprised to find that by turning left out of the site we were out on open moorland. Would happily return here. Please note car parking charges on the coast are either for one hour, or for the full day, nothing in between.

A Fantastic Five Days in South Wales

Dryslwyn

This site is a little gem. It is literally 5 minutes from the M4, but there is little traffic noise and the setting is peaceful and idyllic. The pitches are big and have enough shade that the dogs were happy and enough sun that we were happy. We came up for a cycling event in the Brecon Beacons and I couldn't have found a better base from which to do a bit of last minute training. We managed to get to Ogmore beach for a swim with our two Cooker Spaniels and to explore the local area further inland for a walk or two in the National Park. Nic and Rob the owners were really welcoming, and were always around if needed. We had a really relaxing few days and throughly enjoyed our stay. If you're looking for a quiet spot with easy access to beaches and the Brecons, I would recommend Dryslwyn, we'll be back next year.

What a lovely CL, with welcoming owners!

Dryslwyn
We only stayed here for one night but wished we'd had longer! The site was very easy to find and access - the directions given were spot on. The site has 2 CL signs so that you know you're at the right place. We are quite a long and wide outfit (8ft wide), and we had plenty of room entering the site and accessing our pitch. The owners were very accommodating, both on the phone and in person, and charged us according to our limited stay on their site, which I thought was very kind and fair. The pitches are very generous in size, they're secluded, peaceful, and have a mixture of shade and sun throughout the day. Every pitch also has a tap, and table and chairs (as well as electric and hardstanding), which is a nice touch and a luxury for us! There are also 2 toilets, and a book swap/information room. The grass on the pitches were well maintained, and the verges around were natural, filled with wild flowers which is nice to see for the environment and wildlife. Bins provided for various recycling, as well as a dog litter bin. Due to our limited stay, we didn't explore a lot, but we got to Barry in about half an hour (visiting friends), and I know there is plenty more to see, so would definitely love to come back here! Thank you!

Nice CL but ask for details when booking or it will cost you

Dryslwyn
5 pitches with electric & water. Electric is now on meter-no mention of this on website or when we rang to book. We were told on the 2nd afternoon of staying & due a mix up of them changing their supplier, we were told the charge would be £1.32 per kw hr. Toilet is a shed but clean. No other facilities. Cattle grid the other side of the hedge, main road at the top of the hill - some noise. Website says wifi- when we arrived they told us they didn’t have wifi. Field to the side with a falling down shed in it & at least one of the pitches had a long stay van on it.Paid £48 for pitch &£54 for electric 3 days with 1 day electric discount for their error in not telling us.

Fantastic site

Dryslwyn
Just come back from a 9 days stay. The site was easy to get find and the narrow road was never a problem. The site had lovely large pitches that are divided by mature trees and undergrowth so very private and peaceful. We were there during the heatwave and our pitch always had a good mix of sun and shade (pitch 2). There are 2 toilets on site and always kept clean and tidy.
