Dryslwyn Farm

Dryslwyn
Just returned from a 10 night stay. Easy to get too off the M4. There is a short narrow road to the site, but not a problem. Turning and exiting the site is easy for any size outfit. Pitch sizes are generous, mixture of gravel and grass. Dryslwyn is ideal for visiting Cardiff from nearby Pencoed railway station. Barry Island and Ogmore on sea a short distance away equally the Valleys. Rob and Nicola great hosts, available to help if needed. Will be back.

A wonderful CL.

Dryslwyn
We stayed for 14 nights and would definitely recommend this CL. Set in a beautiful area, secluded, large pitches, all hardstandings with own water and electric. Lots of nice places to visit whether country or coast. Plenty of shops a short drive away Lidl and Aldi included. Access to site is easy and an added bonus for relatives or friends who do not have a caravan or motorhome is the site also has two large wooden chalets to let. Also each pitch has their own outdoor chairs and table. All in a very pleasant cl to stay on.

Excellent CL. Peaceful and welcoming.

Dryslwyn
We stayed for a night in May 2022 and loved this CL. Very friendly welcome, and 5 generous pitches, each with a hardstanding and grassy area alongside with a table and chairs. Lovely rural setting, and very peaceful apart from the birdsong. 2 simple loos bit kept spotlessly clean, and each pitch has ehu and water. Great value for £16. We would definitely stay again.

Definitely not 5 star

Dryslwyn
Just spent a few nights here and are disappointed. Access to the gated site is tight and the water fountain at the entrance doesn’t help. Friendly welcome and shown to the pitches that were available and pointed out to the toilet, info room and waste bins. Part serviced hard standing pitches are in need of de grassing as they are nearly grass pitches with a bit of gravel and sloping. The toilets look clean and new but are in a ramshackle shed, the dustbins need replacing as the handles are missing. Can’t make out what it is but all day long into the evening it sounds like a digger is scraping rocks and can be intermittently heard clearly. The whole site is in need of a good tidy, some weed killer and updating. The photographs for the site must have been taken some years ago when things were better. We won’t be returning.
