Why stay here ...

Only 5 minutes off J35 M4, yet set in a quiet rural setting. Exceptionally large, semi-terraced pitches, all with hard-standing and large lawns to side and rear of graveled areas. Each pitch has a water tap, electric light, waste bin and a table & chairs. The site offers toilet and laundry facilities. We have dog walking areas both on site and in the immediate locality. Quiet lanes nearby, and through heath land, offer excellent walking and cycling opportunities with the added pleasure of listening to, and observing the natural wildlife.

The coast is less than twenty minutes away and Cardiff Bay is within half an hours drive. Buses and trains are less than one and a half miles away. There are local golf clubs, restaurants and pubs, with local taxi services on call. We are also soon to offer fishing in a trout brook on the boundary of our property.

  • Dog walk from site
  • Drive over waste disposal for motorhomes

Fantastic CL Site

What a fantastic CL site. The owners are wonderful and obviously take pride in the site. We use it as a base for visiting our Sons family but it is always a pleasure to come back for the peace and tranquillity after a day with the grandson! Looking forward to many more visits.

Fab CL

What a little gem this is we wanted somewhere near to home and we have found it. We were met by Nicola who was so friendly we felt we had known her forever, the pitches are hardstanding and in front of us was a field with 2 friendly horses. It’s so lovely you need to book up in advance to get in we look forward to making it our go to place that’s if you will have us back Nicola after the drama with the keys. Thankyou for providing a fab CL Sandy and Colin

Lovely site and owners

We booked two nights here so we could visit family and friends, never been before. We had a lovely greeting, the owners and family couldn't do enough for us and so relaxed. It's a quiet, tucked away place but easy for M4 Junc 35 and great for the beaches at Ogmore and surroundings. It's well set out with tiered pitches for great privacy and they have a newly installed/renovated toilet for the visitors. I understand they even do Sunday dinners for visitors. It's a real treasure of a site for all these reasons, we are likely to be returning. Thank you very much.

What a great place to stay, so friendly and well organised. Perfect

Nic and Rob made us feel really welcome from the moment they opened the gate and all week. The site is well sign posted and an easy road in and out. Each pitch is hard standing and has its own grass area with a table and chairs, plus your own drinking water tap, so no lugging the water back and forwards. It is a really nice touch having a toilet and washing machine available if you require them. Your view is looking over a field with two horses, so take your carrots and apples as both the horses are very friendly and partial to the odd treat! It is so quiet you will will sleep well. There are lots of places to visit in the area, really enjoyed our visit to the Royal Mint, and having lunch at the fish and chip shop on the front at Barry. I would really recommend
