Ideal location

Greendown
This is a very small site, we were able to level van without blocks it accommodates 5 van easily though. Fairly scruffy and approach road challenging especially if you have a large outfit as its a narrow single track for about half a mile. Very friendly owner and excellent value at £15 a night inc elec ( July 23). St Fagens museum is within walking distance ( fit people!) and location good for Cardiff area. Site amenities adequate but basic. Recommended as stop over site

Nice basic site

Greendown
Used this site as a stopover while visiting relatives. Nice basic site, owners v friendly & welcoming. Road a little narrow but quiet so not a problem. Level pitches and a large field opposite for dog walking. Loads to visit within a 45 min drive (Barry & Penarth on the coast, Cardiff Castle, Castell Coch, Cardiff Bay) so an ideal base for exploring the area. Would definitely stay again & would recommend it.

Nice little site.

Greendown
Arrived and set up, owner arrived next day. All very relaxed. Approach roads are narrow in places, had to reverse up for a full size skip lorry. Grass needed a cut but nice dog walk across the road over the style. £15 a night now.

Lovely peaceful site. Great for walking across the fields to the Welsh museum. Lovely walks, great for ycling. Owner not there on arrival but pitch up and he will find you later. Very helpful and friendly owner, facilities are hookup, Elsan point, water. So you need your own facilities What more do you need fir £10 a night!! Great site!

Great location for Cardiff

Greendown
I have stayed at Greendown many times and always have a warm welcome from the owners who are very helpful and willing to assist. The site retains the true spirit of a CL and is a very relaxed place to stay. In a hamlet of a Church and a few houses in the middle of the countryside, but Tesco and Aldi only 5 minutes away by car on the edge of Cardiff. Will be back soon.
