Run down back garden of a closed down pub hotel, trains running past, grass not cut, power 3 amp

Turned up to site which I thought was derelict , grass not cut on site or around this shabby shut down hotel . They haven’t even bothered to take the rusty sign down. There are bollards all around entrance, beer barrels s in the way of what I can only describe as a overgrown pub garden. The ground is uneven and the grass not cut. It’s a shambles. We were going to stay 5 nights but decided we could just cope with 2 . This site does not deserve club status , they have put nothing into this site .

Great location for Cardiff

I have stayed at Greendown many times and always have a warm welcome from the owners who are very helpful and willing to assist. The site retains the true spirit of a CL and is a very relaxed place to stay. In a hamlet of a Church and a few houses in the middle of the countryside, but Tesco and Aldi only 5 minutes away by car on the edge of Cardiff. Will be back soon.
