Absolutely Fabulous

Morvich Club Campsite
What can I say, only thank you so much to the wonderful wardens who accommodated us with our tents at the end of the Affric-Kintail Way. Judith went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and get us sorted. THANK YOU. Your kindness was very much appreciated. The site was just that little oasis for 4 very wet campers coming off the trail. The facilities were excellent, drying room, common room and campers cooking shelter saved the day. We loved our short stay with you, will be back again for sure.

Exceeded our expectations

Morvich Club Campsite
Our first visit to Morvich proved to be beyond our expectations. The location is simply amazing. Surrounded by imposing hills, the flat-bottomed glen provides great level pitches. Well-spaced and reasonably private. We were alongside the river which is on the other side of an embankment. The site is a long way from the A-road, so it is very peaceful. Although it is a little further from Skye (25 minutes), alternative sites nearby are on the main road so the peace and quiet is compromised, but not at Morvich. The facilities (showers, toilets and washbasin cubicles) are spotless and plentiful. There are laundry and drying facilities too, but we didn't need them. The site was full on most nights (mid May), but we never queued for anything. There is so much to see and do close at hand that I don't know where to start. I will say that we stayed for 6 nights and only scratched the surface. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Home away from home

Morvich Club Campsite
Site staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Facilities were spotless, despite the site being full. Quiet and calm site. A very relaxing stay - feels like a home away from home.

Fantastic location

Morvich Club Campsite
What a fantastic site . Just spent 7 nights here and it was brilliant. Wardens are really helpful, shower block is dated but clean and warm . Superb location with great walks from the site. So much wildlife to see . Great location for visiting Skye and many highland sights. Beautiful scenery and peace and quiet except for the cuckoo , highly recommended

Disappointing Stay

Morvich Club Campsite
The site is in a beautiful location. We only stayed for one night en route to Skye and as it turned out, one night was enough! The wardens were welcoming but the shower block was not! It was a very cold day and the heating was barely on in the shower block. In fact, one radiator wasn't on at all and the other was barely giving out any heat, so showering was not a pleasant experience! Added to that was the fact that several toilets in the ladies block were out of action - not because they were faulty but clearly because the wardens wanted to limit the amount of cleaning so had placed the toilet brush and recepticle on top of the toilet seat thereby making it clear they were not to be used. This was a problem in the morning as the site was pretty full and having to queue for the use of a toilet was insulting given the nightly cost charged. We will not be returning.
