The rain that was promised last night didn't arrive so it will be out with the watering can again this evening.

Winds are up gusting last night but a gentler breeze today and a bit murky this morning. However the sun has now come out and it is warming up nicely.

Not got big plans for today, a box of pop studs arrived which are to secure the new carpet down in the MH so will get on with that this afternoon.

First walk of the day, by the river and to the beach.  Point of interest today was Cornish fishing vessel 'Our Anna' moored in the port.  Haven't seen her before

Sunny here again today but the wind is absolutely wild. Hung out a load of washing only to see it lying all over the garden half an hour later as washing line had snapped: sods law that it was a whole white bedding set!😠

We've just brought in the towels etc. that were put out 30 minutes ago. All dry except for one.

Parcel of elastic, ordered on Tuesday, has arrived this morning so more masks to make over the weekend.

The wind here is wicked today but like a few others the promised rain has not materialised. Plenty of Grandma's Bonnets blown over. We moved a few of the smaller pots out of the wind last night. Glad we did.

We started to try and note seagoing vessels away from their home ports a couple of years ago, using location codes. Quite surprising how far away some are from their home registered port. PZ is an easy one, but quite a way from home!😁

Bakers - assuming you're at least able to log in and read the forum and in view of Ro''s post above, if you like to email me the puppy's  name I'd be happy to reveal it on your behalf. I'm sure lots of us are desperate to know! smile I'm guessing whatever the problem is won't be solved over the weekend! wink

Right folks great drum roll

Please meet Dora, so named as the litter was on a theme of finding Nemo. Coral Bruce pearl Dory and Nemo. We had Dory and the more we watched her the more we thought it suited her. So she became Dora, short for 'is adorable'. Lexicon will have to wait for now 😉

She's incredibly chilled so fingers crossed. She slept well and no mess in her cage. 1030 til 0445, I checked on her about 0130 not a sound 😃

In view of my fun trying to post I hope this works if not I'll email moulesy to take up his kind offer.
