Second Visit Love It!

Our second visit to this lovely site. Ross the very welcoming owner takes great pride in keeping the site extremely tidy. No facilities but water etc very handy and accessible easily. Hard standing with plenty of grass, which is mown and picked up. Stunning views, short walk to the Loch side, where my husband was lucky to see a glimpse of the otters. Handy for lots of places to see, places to walk,we love Port Appin, also we always dine at The Old Inn when staying that way, quirky pub and booking essential. We will definitely visit again site gets pretty well booked up with returning visitors so would have to plan well in advance.

Loch View Stay

Stayed 3 nights at Dallachulish Farm. View is amazing and the site is immaculate. Great for a base to go and explore Glencoe, Fort William and Port Appin. Thanks for a lovely stay .

Our Favourite

We have just had a week at the lovely site. Really wish we had booked longer. The views are amazing. Ross the owner as worked hard and the place is immaculate. It's a credit to him. We found most people here come back every year. Which we have now done. Booked for next year. It's in a perfect location. You have Oban, Glen Coe, Fort William and the lovely Island of Mull.

Perfect CL

Warmly welcomed by Ross on arrival. Site immaculate and well set out. Location is stunning with beautiful views all around. Practically on top of cycle route 78, which we thoroughly enjoyed riding on. Visited Oban a couple of times for fantastic seafood restaurants and ferries to Mull. Drove up to Fort William to ride the Jacobite steam train to Mallaig, fantastic. Lovely long sandy beach a few miles away that we found whilst we were out on our bikes, only two other people on it! Couldn’t ask for a better CL and Ross even made a point of coming to say goodbye and ‘haste ye back soon!’

Didn't want to leave

We have just returned from a fabulous few days at Dallachulish Farm. The view from this site is stunning - watching the morning sun rise is worth making an effort to get up specially for. Ross keeps his site immaculate and it is an absolute credit to him. This is a perfect loction to explore the surrounding area, Oban, Port Appin, Glencoe but it's also a perfect place to sit and unwind in peace and tranquility watching the sheep, loch and mountain scenery. We look forward to returing .

Just Brilliant

We have just returned from a wonderful two weeks stay at Dallachulish Farm Certificated Location. We were warmly welcomed by Ross and his Mum, who did everything they could to make our stay so enjoyable. Dallachulish is in a superb location with such wonderful scenery to enjoy right from your caravan!!. The site is superbly maintained by Ross who has done a marvellous job in making his site so very homely. It is ideally located to visit all the regional places of interest and has some super walks from the site it’s self to local forestry walks and mountain paths nearby. My wife and I cannot recommend this site highly enough for a visit to the beautiful Argyle and Bute region. Well done Ross!! 😊

Brilliant CL

We had an all too brief stop here en route to Mull but wished we'd booked to stay much longer. We received a warm welcome from Ross and his lovely dog Moss. The site is immaculate and the views outstanding (photos on here doesn't do the scenery justice). Highly recommend and we will definitely make an effort to visit for longer next time.

Wonderful site, wonderful views

When we arrived at Dallachulish site we were immediately greeted by Ross who was very welcoming and friendly. What a lovely site everywhere is immaculate and the pitches are well spaced. There are lots places to visit and lots to see including the wonderful views from the site. Lots of cycling, walking and climbing if you so wish, you just can’t go wrong. This site is very popular, (and no wonder) we were lucky enough to get a cancellation otherwise we would have had no chance. See more on our blog. https://coltrimcaravanners.home.blog/

Our third time at this perfect site

This must be one of the best CL’s in Scotland, (even the best), always a good welcome from Ross & his lovely dog Moss at this immaculate site. Everywhere is so clean, the pitches are level & well spaced so everyone can have a loch & mountain view. There is so much to do & see in this area, hence our third visit, although with the views it is great to just sit & relax watching the sheep & cattle. There are plenty of walks & cycle routes & of course the Munros to climb. We use CL sites countrywide & this is definitely our favourite. It is a very popular site so book well ahead . If you have non caravanning friends/family who wish to holiday with you, tell them about Dallahulisch Lodge holiday cottage next to the site.

Motorhomers review

We stayed at this site at end of March . Entry to the site is via good roads and private tarmacked drive. The pitches are spacious with magnificent views. The elsan pont is spotless and convenient. Convenient water taps in the camping area. The Camping area is in immaculate condition with well maintained grass areas The area is excellent for cycling , route 78 is near the site that provides a traffic free cycle path . The ride to Port Appin takes approx 30 mins, or longer if you choose the hiller clockwise section of the Appin loop . The cycle path goes south toward Oban and North towards Fort William,so you can choose how far you want to cycle. The cycle ride around Loch Creran is also lovely. If you want to travel using a motorhome there is lots of motorhome freindly parking in the local towns .
