Not having any experience of CLs we did not know what to expect. We found the site eventually (do NOT rely on your sat-nav, follow the printed directions). It was down a narrow lane and through a gate. There was no reception; pitch and the owner turns up sometime to collect your money. The site is a circular glade in a wood so very quiet except for the tweeting of the birds. It is on the edge of a housing estate but you wouldn't know from the site. There are some nice walks straight from the site. Big supermarket just down the road (not really walkable). We had pretty variable weather including a downpour but had no problem with mud. Overall a pleasant experience.
