Very restful campsite

A very spacious site with very friendly and helpful wardens - Colin and May. We enjoyed 9 days touring the area and found plenty of attractions and coastal walks and were delighted with Colin's recommendation for a local restaurant where we celebrated our wedding anniversary.

a fantastic site

Spent one week on this gem of a site with our two friends. Colin and May could not have been more helpful, pitches were were of a generous size, mostly level, grass very short. Colin even took us ladies to next village to catch bus into Truro while the men had gone to airshow at Culdrose, much appreciated. Must not forget to mention Ebony, who came every morning for his rich tea biscuit. Will definitely stay again if we are ever in the area.

I'll be back!

We chose this site purely from the reviews and we're not disappointed! Colin and May make you very welcome and offer any assistance they can. In fact our toilet broke while we were there and Colin let us use the one in their house, how's that for service. I would be back in a breath if it wasn't so far,we live in W Yorks. A must if you are in the area.

A truly excellent site

We have just returned from 8 days on this excellent site.  The welcome was warm and the owners could not be more helpful.  Plenty of room to site our caravan, good water and chemical disposal facilities and convenient electric points to all pitches. Grass maintained to a very high standard.  Our dog had a very happy time on a very dog friendly site. The dog walk was well placed and adequate, the paths through woodland were well grassed and kept mown.  A most enjoyable holiday, we will be visiting again.

Truly Excellent

SmileIn our opinion this is the best CL in Cornwall, we have stayed with Colin & May for the last 10 years. There is always a hearty welcome when we get there!! And we hate it when we have to go home. The site is so clean quiet and very well maintained, you can sit outside your own Caravan it's so peaceful it's like sitting in your own garden. The dog walk is ideal for walking your dogs away from main roads and is easy to walk round. Colin and May are always very helpful whatever the situation. I would highly recommend this site ...

One of the best!!!

We are currently on our 14th night here, we leave tomorrow. I have to say this is one of the best maintained CLs we have stayed on. Colin and May are lovely hosts and the site is a credit to them. I wish they would reconsider the decision to go adults only, at the moment the club website says adults only but the handbook doesn't mention this, so Colin is a little flexible with the rule, which is great cos' one of our Grandchildren stayed with us for a few days and he loved it, there is plenty of room for the old and grumpy's (I'm only 63) not to be bothered by any kids. The last time we caravaned in Cornwall was 10 years ago, I hope it wont be that long before we return, and when we do we know where we will be staying. Paul from Manchester.

July 13

We have just returned from a week spent at Frenton Farm. What a lovely site. Its very spacious and very well maintained by its owner Colin who is a lovely fella, always round to check the site and impart his knowledge of the area/things to do.Usually accompanied by his dog Ebony! the site is an ideal base for touring both north and south coast coasts and there associated beaches/harbours.The only drawback to the site was the lack of a toilet/shower block. The site has free WiFi.why then do other sites charge up to £5 a day?? once again a big thank you to Colin,May and Ebony!!

Great Site

What a super site, the owners are very welcoming and do what they can to make your stay enjoyable. We spent a week on the site in June, the weather was changeable but with so many places to visit we did not have any worries. The site is ideally located for the Eden Project which we thought was a great day out, Padstow is only about 30mins away so the East coast was easy to explore also. The village of Roche is just down the road it has a variety of shops, the butcher is very good, we had a few items from them but the sausage was the best I have had. If you happen to have a canine friend they are also made very welcome and on site is the best circular wooded dog walk I have come across. We would highly recommend this site. Thanks to May & Colin for helping to make our holiday.

Lovely site

We visited this site in Feb 11, we had a great time. Great place to stay for visiting both north and south coasts. The kids loved the tennis courts that we went and bought new rackets do we could all play as a family, sad to see its now an adults only site otherwise we would be back.
