Warm Yorkshire Welcome Guaranteed

You might not be able to bank on good weather on the Yorkshire Coast, but at this CL you are absolutely guaranteed a warm welcome and as much help or assistance as you may need. My wife and I have been members for over 40 years and without doubt this is the best CL we stayed on. The site is meticulously maintained and absolutely nothing is too much trouble for John and Kim. From the moment you arrive to the moment you are watched out onto the main road you are more like family. We will definitely be returning. The site is secure, which in itself is unusual. It is really reassuring to know that your caravan will still be waiiting for you when you return from one of the many walks that are right on the door step. There is a wealth of advice on walks and places to visit. The serviced pitches are really well laid out with all the necessary connections available to borrow if you don't have them. A stay at High Breame C L is a must. Our sincere thanks to Kim and John for a lovely, restfull time. From Beryl and John Miller.

Great stay.

We booked for 2 nights, but after a few hours decided to stay for longer. We only managed 1 additional night, as not surprisingly they were booked up. The is a great site, very well maintained and cared for. The ablutions were immaculate and every thing worked well. There is a tap on each pitch. It is a short walk into the town and the coast path. Our hosts could not have been more pleasant and helpful. As they have a springer they have walked every inch of the area and gave us some good advice on the good places to walk to see the local wild life. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back. D&S

First visit to a Cl site

This was our first visit to a Cl site we booked for 4 nights and wow it was brilliant. This is a very welcoming site, we was greeted by Kim after ringing ahead just before arrival. We had a south facing pitch with water, electric and waste water facilities its very close to danes dyke and the coast wich we really wanted so we could relax. The site is kept very well and both Kim and John were brilliant and helpful and the site is very secure we have booked to go back in September thanks again for a great time and look forward to coming back in September Paul/Diane Harris

A very warm welcome is always waiting.

My wife and I have been members of the Caravan Club for more than fourty years and can honestly say that this is the best site we have stayed on. Kim and John are a lovely couple and are so accommodating and always ready to provide help and assistance when needed. All the pitches are numbered and serviced. Ev ery aspect of site is kept in pristine condition and the surrounding area is a joy to walk. All we can really say is a sincere thank you for making our stay so pleasurable. Friendly welcome

A very pleasant stay John and Kim welcomed us on site following our advanced telephone call. They could not have been more helpful not just on arrival with assistance with siting but also during our week's stay with plenty of valuable advice on the local area, particularly with suitable dog walking routes. A peaceful and friendly site that is definitely worth a return visit

EASTER HOLIDAY 2019

We have just returned from a week on this lovely CL, the owners asked to ring ahead to make sure the site gates were opened on arrival. The site itself is spacious with one hardstanding with the rest being pretty level, well maintained grass, all surrounded by a 2 metre hedge. All the pitches are fully serviced and John has a stock of gear if you don't have hose pipes, long waste pipes or float valves, they have added extra waste water drains which is really useful. The shared toilet and shower are kept very clean (£2 per day extra charge to use) with everybody who pays being given a key on arrival together with a key for the main gates, TV and phone reception is good and the screened off service area near pitch 1 is excellant. There are a number of walks to enjoy from the site without needed to drive, mainly along the cliffs tops and we were given some useful maps on arrival. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is a must, particularly in the spring/summer (free entry for C&MC members!). Bridlington is only 5 minutes away with all that it has to offer, no shortage of Fish & Chip shops, they all use beef dripping to fry so a bit of a problem if you're veggie. You may hear some comings and goings from the C&CC CL next door from time to time and there is a bit of noise from the road which is fine as you are some way from it, it has a 40mph limit as the site is just within Flamborough village, John helped to make sure the road was clear as we left. The static caravan on the CL was occupied whilst we were there, it is fenced in and any occupiers park in their own area. We will certainly return in the future!

Quality stay

Stayed here for a couple of nights on pitch one. Loads of space for 'van, awning and car. Chemical disposal and bins are in the far corner of this pitch BUT are well screened and can't be seen. In addition the disposal points are the best I've used. Pitches are fully serviced and all generously sized. There are locked gates and cctv to aid security. There is a small charge for use of an immaculate loo and shower, well worth it IMHO. I've never been on a bad CL but High Breame is a quality place. Always a warm welcome from John & Kim to this well kept, well thought out gem.

Pleasant site

Just back from a six night stay. The site itself is neat and tidy, with pitches well marked out and served. The combined shower/toilet facility is immaculately kept, with good quality fittings. We were unaware that use of this facility was not included in site fees. An extra charge of £2 per night is required if you want to use the toilet. We had difficulty accessing the toilet in the mornings especially, as many other campers seemed to spend an inordinate amount of time in there. It's a shame there isn't enough room to have a separate toilet as well as the combined shower room. The location is spot on. The area is beautiful, there are lots of great dog walks, easily accessible nearby. It is easy to get to many of East Riding's finest places from this site. Whether the traffic noise, noticeable mostly during the day time will irritate you, very much depends on how noisy your home location is and whether you intend any quiet, chilled out afternoons at your caravan as part of your holiday. We found this somewhat intrusive. It does quieten off late evening. There is an adjoining caravan site, which, at times, could be noise intrusive - one man trundled his waste water down the length of the road over the dividing hedge at 7.15 in the morning! Whilst this is out of the control of Kim and John, it was somewhat thoughtless of the caravanners next door. We had a warm and friendly welcome from Kim, who was always on hand should you need any help. The site is very secure with the gate being locked at all times, giving you peace of mind.

Excellent

Just returned from this little beauty! The owners were so friendly and helpful, giving us leafets about different walks in the area on arrival. The site is immaculate, as are the shower and loo facilities .... if you enjoy nature, walking and great sea views you’ll not go wrong by visiting High Bream, will return x

Perfect location for walking from the site

First time at this CL site, wont be the last. This is an excellent site due to its location,we walked straight across the road into farmland and spotted deer straight away, Danes dyke beach about 20 minutes walk, an hour and a quarter easy walking into Bridlington, Flamborough head coastal walk takes a little longer. Flamborough village is a 20 minute walk along the footpath where there are 4 dog friendly pubs, 2 chip shops, chemist and quite a large Co-op supermarket. Also the owners John and Kim are so friendly, John set us up with his own equipment, as all the pitches are fully serviced pitches. What makes a site for us is not having to use the car, having everything on your door step, High Breame gave us that in an abundance.
