Great Bank Holiday stay

I can only re-iterate what has already been said in previous reviews. It is great value for money. A lot of thought has been put into this site. I am concerned that all the good reviews will make it difficult getting booked in, in future. I wish John and Kim all the best as they have put a lot of effort and thought into the little gem. We most certainly will be returning. Our weekend was made when we had a visit from the Woodpecker onto our bird stand. Happy days

Retired couple

We endorse everything said in the other reviews - very helpful owners - direct connection to water and waste much appreciated.

A warm welcome

Site in excellent location just on edge of Flamborough, very peaceful, and attractive setting but close enough to town to walk in for pubs and restaurants (Seabirds recommended). Very secure with access via locked gates (you're given a key) and covered by CCTV. Lovely welcome by owners John & Kim who were incredibly helpful, helping us set up and loaning us the stuff to plumb our water and drainage straight in. They also had useful recommendations for eating out and local walks. There had, unfortunately, been heavy rain for several weeks so the grassed area was a bit waterlogged but we pitched on a dryish corner and had no problems. This is a newish site and they're still making improvements. You have your own water, electric and waste drain on each pitch , and the pitches are very generous in size. The chemical and grey waste is very well thought out and better than several club sites we've been on, also everythings very clean and well maintained. They are building a loo and shower which will be a bonus when finished. There's also free wi-fi. Location is great for the coast including Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head which have spectacular scenery and wildlife. Overall a great week, will definatelly be returning, hopefully when the weathers better.

Fantastic CL

My wife & i have just returned home from a fantastic easter weekend at this CL, first the main man John, nothing is too much trouble for him & his knowledge of the local area is second to none,my wife & i like walking & calling for the odd beer or 2,so our first walk consisted of walking to the south landing with a steady walk back to danes dyke along the cliff tops breath taking views, coming out at danes dyke which entrance back to the main road, once the road has been crossed you are back at High breame, our second walk was into Flamborough, a steady 20 minute walk & 5 pubs & 2 chippys to choose from, our third walk was into Bridlington around an 80 minute walk where numerous pubs & chippys were at our disposal, alas we decided walking back to the CL was not for us & £6 in a taxi was great value for money. On Easter sunday morning we then met Kim who came all the Vans who were spending easter on their site & brought us all an easter egg,a fantastic touch.Anyway come easter monday it was time for us to head home, but during the night storm katy had left her mark & the grass was wet through, no problem for John who came to our aid with some plastic boards to get us off his field.Once we had got to his exit back onto the main road John watched the traffic for us so we could get out safely. My wife & i will use this site again, actually we will use it often, quiet, peaceful well kept, thanks John & Kim a quality weekend.

Early spring break

A warm welcome from John. Accommodated us on a very wet and wintery weekend on a hard standing as the pitches were waterlogged after some very heavy rain & snow. Within easy walking distance of Danes Dyke and a short stroll into the village centre. Very well cared for site and nothing too much trouble. Will definitely visit again.

Something for everyone

I can't really say much more than what has already been said. We have just returned from a 5 night stay between Christmas and the New Year.  The site is in a fantastic location for the beautiful East Coast, brilliant for dog walking, easy access to the lovely beaches, close to local shops and pubs. It's perfect for wildlife spotting and photography. You won't find a more welcoming couple than Kim & John, they are so proud of their site and fantastic ambassadors of the local area and of the Caravan Club -  nothing is too much trouble for them. The weather had been pretty poor with localised flooding but that can't be avoided - we wanted a relaxing few days away from our otherwise busy work lives and thats exactly what we had. We will most certainly return, hopefully in the Summer and probably for the Christmas break in 2016. Thanks Kim & John, the hard work, time and care you are putting in will pay you back.

Also, I would just like to add that John is a volunteer for thr RNLI, that in itself is hugely commendable.

Great site with very friendly hosts!

John and Kim are very friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts. The site is very well kept. Very quiet too.  Nice touches with fruit trees and garden ornaments. Facilities were immaculate. Our fridge broke down and Kim offered us the use of her fridge! The grass was cut short and very flat. Can't fault this site at all!  Well done John and Kim. Keep up the good work!

Didn't want to leave!

Just returned after a wonderful 10 day stay at High Breame and I can't give any higher recommendation for this CL other than to say we have booked a further 10 day stay over Christmas and New Year. John and Kim are the loveliest of hosts and do everything possible to ensure that one's stay is as enjoyable as possible. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. Facilities are excellent with three of the five pitches, fully serviced and plans to extend this facility to all pitches over the winter. The high level of security is an added bonus. Good pubs and restaurants within walking distance and lovely doggy walks in Danes Dyke, just across the road. Being only just over half an hour's drive from home, I can see High Breame becoming a regular venue for us - that is - if we can get in! This newly opened CL is already proving to be immensely popular - and deservedly so.

Lovely CL

We managed a few days here last week and can only say how much we enjoyed visiting High Breame. From John and Kim's welcome on our arrival onwards our stay was pleasant, relaxing, and we appreciated being able to see the Tawny Owl. Looking forward to returning to High Breame in the future.
