.....certainly is one of the best club sites.

I agree with the previous review. We've also stayed at this site a few times now over the past two years and always found it to be clean, well cared for and the staff are always helpful and friendly. Always one of our favourite sites!

GOT TO BE THE BEST CLUB SITE

We've stayed at this site many times and have always found it to be clean and well cared for. The staff are always helpful and friendly. First class. Will be returning at the beginning of October.

Just fab

This is a really good site. Second visit in as many weeks. Some traffic noise when pitched at the end of the site next to road but not to bad at all really. Great staff and spotless facilities. As We don't live that far away this will be a regular on our list of quick getaways. Just fab!

Fantastic Site

Just spent a 4 night break here, this is our fourth caravan club site we have stayed in and they have all been really good, can't say a bad word about any of them, Breacon is a fab site, very friendly wardens on arrival and throughout our stay, the shop is just wow what more can I say, Breacon town is just a short stroll down the canal path, ideal for checking out other attractions and walks all quite close bye, whole site kept immaculately a credit to the team !!

Jewel In the Caravan Club Crown? (last of 4 sites in our Welsh tour)

We cannot praise this site more, it is absolutely stunning, immaculate facilities, beautifully kept grass, hedges and gardens. We thought the bike/dog wash deserves special mention, what a brilliant idea. We cycled to Tal-Y-Bont along the canal and back, our bikes were in dire need of a good clean after all the rain. BIG THUMBS UP for the bike wash. Brecon itself is a couple of miles from the site, again walking along the canal is a very pleasant walk. We found the Bank bar restaurant very good and enjoyed a nice lunch for not too much money. The Chinese however leaves a lot to be desired. We walked to the 3 Horseshoes pub for a wee drink and thoroughly enjoyed the local banter therein, could easily pop in there every night. (We didn't though) WE LOVED BRECON, and would return many times if it was closer to home. (5 Hours from home)

A really nice site

We wanted a weekend break and as this site is 1 hour away gave it a try, forecast was extremely wet so we were not expecting too much...On arrival had a warm welcome from the wardens, they explained the site and how to pitch etc, we chose our pitch after driving around, and went back and told them the number and to get our barrier pass. The site is spotless and so well kept, toilet blocks are like new and kept that way all day. It seemed such a friendly site, everyone was sociable and chatty, the dog walk was really good, although a bit muddy but the upside was a dog wash area on the exit, and as our 2 papillons are quite low to the ground, was used every day! Had some lovely meals in the Bank pub in Brecon and that was very dog friendly too. We have now found the ideal spot for weekend breaks for us and cannot wait to come back, All of the staff were constantly keeping it tidy and emptying bins etc.

Great site

This is a great site - good facilities (including a drying room for wet walking clothes), a well stocked shop (also sold camping accessories), friendly staff and good location. Noise from the road was minimal and hardly worth mentioning. Will be back very soon as more places we want to explore from here.

Our first trip.

We have just retired so this was our first trip since taking up Caravaning. We were NOT disappointed with what we experienced. A very friendly and well organised site. It was ideally situated to get around the area coupled with useful amenities on site. I hope other Caravan Club sites can live up to the reputation of this one. We did have one problem with our Van during our stay but were unable to find a member of the staff able to give advice.

Brilliant stay

Just returned from this site, the weather wasn't that good but there is so much to do we didn't get round it all. Managed Dan r Ogof caves, the Élan valley and dams, red kite feeding at Rhayader. The new toilet and shower blocks are superb and the whole place is such a lovely clean site. Also worth a mention is the well stocked shop and helpful staff will be going back for definite.
