Has the club lost its way?

Just returned from a 7 nights stay at Cayton bay. Facilities clean but not conveniently located being on extremity of both fields. The pitches on the top field are narrow and cramped. In fact it's virtually the same as it was before the club took it over (minus the tap on each pitch). There's less toilets especially in the men's than before, and one less toilet block. On the lower field the money has been spent landscaping around the glamping area which are well spaced and arranged for privacy, whereas the super pitches are uninspiring with a token piece of grass. The club have said that the pods are for friends and family members without a caravan. As a caravan and motor home club I think our membership money should have been spent on offering better quality pitches for members.

We will be going to Cayton village site in just over a week  and we have already had not good reports from others who have stayed there, about it seems noise from those staying in the pods, and to try to get on the top part of the site.  ,now with your post it also is not Good in that area,   but with sites being as busy as they are this year it is by checking in the area not possible to go elsewhere frown
