On our "Tour de Yorkshire" from Sunderland we had two days at Cayton Club site and must say it was a real treat . Easy going check in at 13.00 Most of the pitches located n the first section were full but plenty to pick on the second part which has its own new toilet block . Very handy bus service at entrance on double decker bus to either Bridlington or Scarborough . They pass every 15 to 20 mins apart . Your in Scarborough in about 15 minutes . Catch the return bus from the station . It was busy in Scarborough on the sea front . First thing we like to know is where can you walk to for a beer ?? Answer the Tow Bar at Caton left at gate in one direction is about 15 minute easy walk and pubs on your left . Next day we walked to Caton Village and its even nearer and again just a 6 minute walk brings you to the Farrier Inn which YOU MUST VISIT . Its a pub Hotel restaurant which won "4 in a Bed" and the staff were really nice even though we just wanted a couple of drinks . So we liked the site which is very spacious and well maintained and really quiet at night . TV signal was good deffo a five star plus site
