Security

This site is perfectly placed for cycling and walking. Excellent in fact. The only down side was the big security issue. There had been many items stolen including quad bikes. You had to lock your bikes away in the site bike shed overnight. Needless to say it was rammed full and not enough room. Our bikes were damaged in their due to people trying to get there own bikes out.

Lucky last minute break

We had a fabulous time at Clumber Park, our 3 children loved it, did not want to go home! Take your bikes and there's some great bike tracks to Clumber Park NT, and take a ride all the way round the lake its beautiful. Thanks to the staff for the Easter Trail and the colouring competition for the kids, they loved it and it added to the magic of the stay. Facilities were brilliant, never queued for showers and they were as hot as you wanted them and as my little boy said fast showers (power shower). Thanks again and keep up your hard work.

Football

Great location, good facilities, clean, great for FOOTBALL as the wardens don't enforce any rules, turning a blind eye and walking past football games being played on the grass between pitches, not even lightweight balls, these were proper leather footballs being belted towards each other, how no damage was done was pure luck as awnings were hit and cars and caravans  were getting the balls stuck underneath, will never go again in school holidays, surely members should know the basic rules on site and respect other people's outfits ?

Great Stay

Just had six nights at Clumber Park. First impressions for 2015. The site was kept to a high standard, clean & tidy. Spoke with the wardens who were very helpful at all times. Although the site was nearly full it was was very quiet. looking forward to returning soon.

Ideal site

My family and I have just returned from a long weekend at Clumber. It's one of our favourite sites both for access and location. As expected over Easter the site was very busy, lots of children playing and cycling around. I love to hear the sound of children laughing and playing in the playground. Even though the weather wasn't great there are plenty of activities to keep all ages entertained. Miles and miles of walks and cycles through the trees, a visit to the National Trust house and gardens is a must and a visit to the Walled Kitchen restaurant gives the necessary sustenance to get you back to the campsite. We will be returning again and are already looking forward to our visit.

Clean up after you!!!!

We have just had a wonderful stay at Clumber Park Site. My only critisism is with members NOT staff. I used the mens shower block on Friday morning, and all the shower cubicles had been left sludgy. MEN, use the equipment provided to clean the shower you have used, and, don't just expect the next person to clean up after you. Oh for the return of the " mop bucket " Please everyone, the wardens do a fantastic job, so lets do our bit, and leave things as we find them.

Weekend

Had a wonderful weekend here 27th March, this site is in a great location in the forest with fantastic walks. If you want to get away from all the stresses of a hectic life then this is the place to unwind, no mobile phone signals and when we went even the Wi Fi didn't work. On arrival the Wardens were very helpful and friendly, one and only criticism was that my wife needed the toilet at the time that they had just been closed for cleaning to be told by a lady warden that it's tough luck and to use the other block, really no need for that response think she needs a lesson in customer care!!

Family fun in the heart of the forest

Clumber is one of our favourite club sites.  Our two children (7 and 4) spent the whole weekend making new friends on the fantastic club playground, playing in the forest that surrounds the site, listening to story time at the National Triust discovery centre and cycling around the park.  There wasn't any wifi or phone reception on site and, as busy working parents, we really enjoyed the time away from technology.  Well done Clumber, we will be returning as soon as we can.

Lovely site

We stayed here last weekend, great site only minutes from the A1. Its quiet and peaceful and the walks in the forest are amazing. My 12 year old daughter thoroughly enjoyed it and made new friends whilst there. The wardens are lovely and on hand to give help and advice if needed. All in all a good site with clean facilities and a park and lots of walks and things around it to see and do.
