You've got to come here !!

This site is fabulous. Everything you want..... (Are you sitting comfortably, then I'll begin.....) A very warm welcome, spotlessly clean, good sized pitches, private pitches due to hedges, excellent play ground for the children, good sized dog walking area (ive seen some complaining about the size of this - they must own great danes!), although closed in October the pool is a good size, resturant and club house superb and open daily with good food. Children's entertainment 4 times a week - family games/movie evenings in the caravan in the other nights (lovely, and saves a few £). As for the toilet blocks - spotless! Superb facilities ladies, gents and family rooms - all with under floor heating - im writing this in October 2015, I can assure you, it was a very pleasent surprise! As for the staff, be it in the shop (very reasonable ££) the reception, or the club house - they are excellent. I will defiantly be returning to this site next year - probably more than once! THANK YOU TO ALL THE TEAM ON SITE.  Phil B.

First class!

Lovely warm welcome even though we were only staying 2 nights (some sites it seems to make a difference!).  Spotlessly clean facilities, great pitch with privacy hedges and a sea view.  Great location with a bus service that stops outside the site entrance.

Another visit here.

Yet again we had a good stay at Hillhead, be warned that the massive road improvement works around Torquay are still not finished, we used the Totnes route. We used the bus outside the site several times. We went to Dartmouth twice and on one visit caught the ferry to Agatha Christie's old holiday home at Greenway. A lovely journey along the Dart. The weather for this trip was warm and sunny and we enjoyed our lunch sitting outside the NT cafe. We also had a couple of evening bar meals at Hillhead itself and the shop is well stocked, so a nice easy October break, one of many spent at this site at different times of the year.

Very Welcoming

Arrived at Hillhead on 24/10/15 for a 2 night stay. Whenever my wife and I arrive at a Caravan Club site we generally get a friendly & helpful welcome but the greeting we got at Hillhead has to have been the best. The site and facilities were extremely well kept, clean and tidy.

Another great stay!!

Our favourite site on the network - and our 3rd visit this year. It never disappoints but this is entirely down to Chris and Tina who are so welcoming and hard working to keep everything so pristine. We can't wait for Christmas. Thank you again. Terry and Moyra (Pitch 167).

Another Fantastic Week

We have been coming to this site every year now and is one of our favourites. The location of the site is great and with a bus service outside the entrance to the site, I was able to park the car up. We had the same pitch as last year and great views overlooking the sea and nice and secluded. The wardens do a great job and always friendly. The site facilities were clean and the clubhouse is great for a night out or even just a quick drink, depending what you want. Unfortunately the swimming pool had to close when we were there due to the great English weather, but nice secure set up for families. We will be back next year.

Always brilliant

Great site, amazing location with some of the best views on the site network. Immaculately maintained especially given the size of the site. The weather was good for our stay, it's a shame that the pool wasn't open.

Superb site

In our opinion this site is superb. Immaculately kept with courteous and very hard working staff. It has every facility you could possibly want. We shall certainly be returning.A real bonus was the bar and restaurant being open every evening even in October and a regular bus service at the entrance.
