our 3 week holiday touring

This is the second time we have been to warwick Racecourse, it is a lovely site very friendly staff very close to everything, felt sorry for the staff as the washing machine was still leaking so there was a mop left there so i moped the floor so staff didn't have to keep popping in every 2 min, this site was the cheapest for the washing & dryer it was nice that it was not unreasonably priced,it was nice to see the staff keeping the grounds neat & tidy & patrolling the site at different time making sure every thing was OK the dog walking faculty was fabulous our little puppy relay loved it just as much as we did  well done we will be back : )

An excellent site

We only stayed for one night while travelling south to the Cotswolds in July, but it was an excellent choice. It is easy to get to and near to the main roads if you are just using the site as a stopover. We were met by friendly wardens on arrival and it is a very charming site indeed. We pitched nose in right next to the race track opposite the grandstand (a prime spot on race days I should imagine). The facilities were very clan and spotless and the site very tidy indeed. The pitch we were on was totally tarmac but there are grass and hard-standing pitches as well. You can easily walk into Warwick itself where there are plenty of shop, pubs, and places to eat. There is a large Sainburys in walking distance as well. We were certainly glad we choose to stay there, as stated below follow the instructions in the club handbook and not your satnav. Thank you wardens.

Great site for Warwick

Access was very good, even for big rigs, and as it is on the racecourse, it is easy to find. Take the first gate however, as the sat nav takes you to the general car park for race days etc. Also best to avoid busy days, as the town is a bit tight for large motorhomes and caravans. Having said that the Warwick Racecourse Caravan Club Site is set on a grass (for smaller rigs) and tarmac (no awnings) enclosure within the grounds of the racecourse. Its virtually in the town centre of Warwick, with good access from the M40 motorway, so even overnight stays are good. Nice walks, but need long trousers if you stay from path as grass is a bit long. Warwick Castle is on your doorstep as is a nice English Heritage site.

Great Location

Stayed for 5 nights & thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The location is excellent for visiting Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford Upon Avon & the surrounding area. We played golf at Stonleigh Deer Park & Newbold Comyn both of which were interesting & inexpensive. A site to be recommended.

Excellant site will certainly be returning later in the year

What another fabulous caravan club site, the wardens were so helpful, allowing that i have quiet a serious back problems they kindly put us on to a pitch close to the ameamities and considering we were only staying for the one night as we were heading further north on this particular break, promised to return hopefully in the forthcoming autumn period, then we can also explore the area of Warwick

I wish I had a longer stay

We used this site as a stopover for the night on the way to the Isle of Wight and wished we had more time to explore Warwick. The town centre is an easy walk away and we sampled the Fish and Chips from the award winning chippy as recommended by the warden. We weren't disappointed and apparently it is one of the top 25 fish and chip shops in the country. The site itself was very tidy and the walk around the racecourse is excellent. The shower block was clean and tidy and the warden was very friendly and helpful. He even took the time to personally show me around the available pitches and recommended one for an easy getaway the next morning. We will definitely stay here again but will extend the stay to take in a trip round the castle with the kids.

What a nice surprise

We didn't expect such a lovely site, in the middle of the racecourse, but hedged all round and feeling quite private. Toilets clean, staff friendly, pitch excellnt. Would like to stay longer and explore next time.
