An excellent site situated in the centre of Warwick Racecourse, ideally suited for visiting historical site's in the area.
Roy and Kath are very obliging and always ready to help if asked.
The site which is owned by the Racecourse is kept by them to a very high standard, which includes the aging toilet facilities.
The only problem I have seen is caused by Members arriving early before 1pm and parking causing an obstruction at the end of the access road.
I have stayed on this site on a number of occasions and will be returning in July 2022.
Relaxing
We have just come back after a weekend break. We booked this site as booked to visit the castle on Saturday. Arrived Friday and left Sunday. We booked an awning pitch so not to be put on the tarmac.
So relaxing. So quiet. So chilled.
The wardens are so friendly and helpful.
Can not fault this site and will definitely return for a weekend break.
fabulous stay as always
We came to Warwick Race course for a four day stay we had family meet us there too.
It is a very friendly club site Roy & Cath are so nice welcoming us back onto the site with them, we have relatives in Leamington Spa so we frequently visit this site.
We had to go for a funeral i had mentioned this to Cath then when she saw me next she remembered & asked me how the funeral was, i was really touched by this as this, as it is such a busy site & they meet a lot of people in a day & vehicle's are in & out every day, so that made it feel very personal & special.
The site is very clean well looked after grounds, toilet / shower blocks were immaculate, the reception was all trimmed up for the Queens Platinum Jubilee which was really nice to see they had made personal effort to celebrate.
Thanks again Cath & Roy
We will be seeing you both soon

Fantastic site
Fantastic site so close to the town, Warwick castle, Stratford upon Avon and Leamington spa. The wardens are super friendly and full of local knowledge.
We have booked again and are staying for a race meeting. Can’t wait

Perfect
What a pleasure, Cath and Roy were happy, helpful and informative. The site was spotless, showers lovely and hot. Great location for Warwick, the Castle and obviously if horse racing is on that’s a bonus. We will definitely be returning. A very big THANK YOU from Sharon and Kevin Mooney.

Great location
I stayed here for the first time as a break in my journey to Kent as it’s just off the M40. I’d rang a few days earlier to see if i could pitch by the facilities as i am recovering from a broken leg and a little doddery. This was my first trip since my accident and i was a tad apprehensive as to how i would cope. Kath and Roy were just brilliant. They’d reserved a spot directly opposite the loos and Roy was most willing to help, although i did want to try on my own! When i asked if he could do the same on my return trip he immediately dashed to the office to do the deed! The site itself is small but well maintained. I did manage to get a tv signal after spending a lot of time in the wardrobe with my aerial! Also managed to log in to the jockey club wi-fi so alls well. If you want a pitch that isn’t on the tarmac, then book an awning pitch. But the tarmac pitches are by the racecourse, so on a race day, that maybe what you want. Well located for Warwick itself, even i managed to hobble in but, for me, it wasn’t worth the effort. Not a very touristy place, other than the castle which i didn’t visit. Great situation for the dog. Straight out the gate and there you go. As for the people moaning about the wardens, i would say look in the mirror and see where the problem really lies. If you need instruction on how to work a shower, then it is you who has the problem. I got talking with Kath and they are the only wardens who work 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for 3 weeks….then have 1 week off. I would ask those whingers and moaners to add the hours up and then ask. Would you do it? There are rules for a reason, it’s not about being in Government. It’s about doing the right thing rather than doing what YOU want to do. Thanks Roy and Kath…see you later..xx
Excellent
Just returned home from a wonderful 3 night stay. It was our first trip out in our motorhome and we loved every minute.
The site facilities are great, everything you would need. Lovely hot, powerful showers in the spotlessly clean toilet blocks.
Short stroll into Warwick with a great selection of shops and bars, the castle is only a 10 minute walk away too.
Roy & Cath we’re very helpful and welcoming. We will be returning for a race day next year.
Warwick Visit
Recently visited Warwick site. Booked last minute and the Wardens, Cath and Roy were extremely accommodating and helpful and welcoming. The site was really clean in a great location for visiting Warwick,Leamington and the surrounding area. Once again can’t thank Cath and Roy for their excellent customer service. Absolutely Spot On. A real credit to the organisation.Thank you.
Great site!
This is the second time we have visited this site and it was lovely to be recognised and asked how the next part of our journey had been. The setting is excellent for travel to such places as Warwick or Kenilworth Castles or a little further to Shakespeare country - Stratford upon Avon. Royal Leamington Spa is also close by. Plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants to sample and then burn off those calories around the numerous paths and cycle areas all around. Try the canal walks with a pub stop en route or a simple stroll around the racecourse itself (stick to the path!). The site couple who greeted us on both occasions were courteous and friendly and everything was explained clearly. I noted a previous review that was not so complimentary - we also have a 7.6 metre long MH - I had no problem in asking my wife to guide me to grey water waste site - slightly tricky but certainly not too difficult. We will definitely visit again.
Gem of a site
What a little gem. We wanted to be near our son for Christmas (working shifts) This was literally INSIDE the racecourse!! We chose to face the track on the tarmac (but there were more traditional gravel & grass style pitches behind.) just a shame it wasn’t race day! The wardens were welcoming & even gave us a bag of Christmas goodies (Bucks Fizz, crackers & mince pies) Warm & dry facilities with copious hot water, and fine for a small site. The weather was damp but didn’t stop us from walking the whole racecourse (firm footpath all round) and further afield along the Grand Union Canal. It is 5/10 minutes from the lovely old town with great history and individual shops, and the Castle Christmas Light Trail was amazing. We will Definitely be back.
