Northern England
Chester
Chester’s pop-up market includes over 70 traditional wooden chalets, all situated around a sparkling Christmas tree. Recent events were attended by a microbrewery, a hat-maker and fudge seller, while this year’s market will offer similar variety from 19 November to 22 December 2025.
Manchester
With a variety of Christmas attractions across the city centering on the main hub in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester’s Christmas markets is one of the biggest festive markets in the north. The market runs from 7 November to 22 December 2025, with plenty of time to soak up the festive atmosphere.
South East England
London
The Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is possibly one of the best-known winter wonderlands in the UK. With mulled wine, seasonal snacks, games, rides and live entertainment, this is one not to miss. 14 November 2025 until 1 January 2026 (excluding Christmas Day).

Winchester
Winchester Cathedral provides the stunning backdrop to this year's Christmas market with over 100 traders selling locally sourced and produced items. As well as plenty of seasonal sweet treats and warming drinks there will be singers, performers and a traditional Nativity scene for all the family to enjoy. Winchester Christmas market will run between 21 November and 22 December 2025.
Bath
Bath Christmas market will transform the picturesque streets of Bath into a magical experience from 27 November to 14 December 2025. With loads of twinkling chalets to explore, you’ll be able to complete your Christmas shopping in one trip!
Scotland and Wales
Edinburgh
Returning to its traditional venue at East Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh’s Christmas market is open from 15 November 2025 to 4 January 2026. Nearby Santa Land has a children’s market and a range of traditional rides, while little ones can also visit Santa’s grotto.
Cardiff
Cardiff’s Christmas Market is run by CraftFolk, and promises an eclectic mix of returning and new stalls this year, with the market scheduled to run between 13 November and 23 December 2025. Seasonal food and drink will be available to keep shoppers warm on those crisp winter days.
