Beautiful views
Meadwell Farm
As our surname is Meadwell, we just had to stay at this CL! We were warmly welcomed by the family and were invited by Robert to have a look around their automated milking parlour. What an incredible place! We learned so much about modern dairy farming and have the greatest respect for the Brown family and what they have achieved. The site itself is easily approached and the pitches are large, hard standing and level. You really need to have transport as the village is pretty remote and there are no public transport links close by. However, for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings with peace and tranquility, it’s lovely. The night skies must be absolutely fantastic as there is no immediate light pollution, but despite visiting in late summer, there was a lot of cloud, so we didn’t manage to see many stars! All in all a great stay in our namesake CL and many thanks to the Brown family for their hospitality and time.

A peaceful retreat
Meadwell Farm
As soon as you arrive here the peace and tranquility combined with the great far reaching views will make anybody feel relaxed.
It's a simple site with good level hard standing and plenty of grass space all around each pitch.
We found it easy to find and nice wide turn in off the quiet road.
