Why stay here ...

Our tranquil and peaceful CL is on a lovely large flat field on our small farm with easy vehicular access. There is plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the views of the countryside. We are within easy access of the A140 and close to the towns of Eye and Diss, 3 and 6 miles respectively. Well behaved dogs, children and parents are welcome. We have 2 pet sheep; a horse who loves to be admired and a small herd of cattle. Sometimes it is possible for visitors to join us when feeding the animals.

There are 2 pubs in easy walking distance and some beautiful villages nearby, including a thatched church at Thornham Parva. There are lots of local footpaths to explore, some fishing lakes, walks and walled garden at the nearby Thornham estate. Mid Suffolk light railway is in Wetheringsett, Stoneham Barns has an owl sanctuary amongst its attractions. We are equidistant from Ipswich, Norwich and Bury St Edmunds.

Bookings can be made online through the website, or by phoning Len or email us.  Any questions just phone or email.

We look forward to meeting you.

In need of a bit of a spruce up

Stoke Hall Farm
We stayed one night here as a stop over. It is a basic CL servicing your needs. Electric , Water , Waste disposal. The owner was very friendly and laid back. I just felt it needed a bit of TLC. The field is flat but the grass was a bit long and rutted. The drinking water tap is on a slope and surrounded by nettles. The waste sewer lid cover was broken. The cost for the night is now £17 and the instructions in the handbook are a bit misleading

Lovely little site

Stoke Hall Farm
What a lovely little site. Sue and Len made us feel very welcome. We had our little Granddaughter with us, and she really loved being shown some of the animals, finding out there names and learning a little about them . We stayed for a weekend, arriving on Saturday and leaving on Monday. We were aware of the proximity of the A140, when we booked, but it never really bothered us. The site itself, was very quiet, especially considering it is a working farm. Lots of lovely walks, straight from the site, and All Saints, a very pretty parish church ,opposite the site entrance. The site is nice and level, and well kept. The hedges were taller than on the gallery photographs, and we would have loved the one along the east side of the field to have been a little lower, which would have afforded us some lovely views of the surrounding countryside. A perfect site for some much needed chill out time. Very relaxed , and we will be returning.

Excellent CL

Stoke Hall Farm
A basic, well kept CL with level pitches and friendly helpful owners. A little bit of traffic noise but nothing too intrusive. We enjoyed our weeks stay in July and will revisit if we are in the area again.

Another fantastic holiday

Stoke Hall Farm
Thank you Len, Sue and Emma for making us so welcome again and special thanks to you Len when we had puncture. This site is unbelievable, very spacious, flat, well mown grass, but the most unbelievable thing is apart from other visitors for the odd night or two, for three weeks we were on our own, just cannot understand it but very nice for us. We were there for most of June. Suffolk in itself is well worth a visit, lots of things and places to go, nice walks, good beaches, picturesque towns and villages.
