Why stay here ...

Bow Hill Farm is a peaceful and tranquil CL site set within a small farm on the Downs north of Chichester, West Sussex within the South Downs National Park. The site is constructed over two fields situated either side of the farm wildlife pond - the top field consists of 3 pitches, with 2 further pitches in the lower field.  All pitches are hard standing, (8m x 8m), electric hook ups (16amp) and drinking water taps. The site consists of well maintained grassland and hedgerows. This site is adult only and well behaved dogs are welcome.

Our facilities also include an electric shower and two WC cubicles housed within a log cabin. You will also find a washing machine and a dryer which operate via a coin meter - £1 for 30 minutes. There is a shaver socket and hand basin with hot and cold water in each WC cubicle.

The pitches all offer views across the Downs to Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight. In the evening you can sit and watch the city lights in the distance, as you relax in the beautiful and peaceful countryside. As well as farm animals such as sheep and horses you will also be able to spot birds of prey such as buzzard and red kite.

The CL site has a footpath passing along the boundary allowing quick access to footpaths and bridleways within the area, offering beautiful walks through local farmland and woodland.

The Royal Oak pub at Hooksway is about 1 mile away and The White Horse Restaurant at Chilgrove is 0.25 mile away. The nearest local shop is at South Harting (about 2 miles)

Chichester, Petersfield and Portsmouth all offer local attractions and shopping.

Our preferred booking method is via our online facility where you can also check availability and prices.

Just perfect!

Bow Hill Farm
Just had 3 nights at this beautifully maintained, tranquil site in the most gorgeous setting. It's the best CL site we've been to so far and we would love to come back and stay a bit longer next time, as there's so much more to see locally and also to simply enjoy sitting watching the birds and soaking up the sun (hopefully!). We were so lucky to have seen a red kite on 2 consecutive days and to watch the delightful baby lambs. We had a superb meal at the White Horse at Chilgrove, which is just a few minutes away and the local villages are just enchanting.

Can't fault this site. Beautiful views, spotlessly clean, great layout. Already rebooked for a return.

Our third visit

Bow Hill Farm
It’s our third visit and we’ve booked for next year already. Phillip has maintained the high standards for the site and the facilities so it’s a pleasure to be here. The site is tranquil with superb views and often spectacular sunsets. There are super walks from the site and masses of things to do in the local area. A real gem of a CL.

Cl - Away from it all

Bow Hill Farm
Despite the current heatwave we very much enjoyed our stay at Bow Hill this weekend, in the company of our two friends. We particularly liked: - the immaculate facilities - the great views from the pitches, which are good sized and well spaced - the variety of walks direct from the site - watching the red kites, swallows, green woodpecker etc.

Fantastic stay beautiful CL

Bow Hill Farm
Really lovely CL …. Great Facilities on site well thought out and very clean. Great views, great dog walks. We really enjoyed our stay and will return if we are in the south again. White Horse pub…… over rated, over priced and not recommend for food. I am fussy but at £22 for a Sunday roast it needs to be a £22 roast ….. it wasn’t dont be fooled by appearance of the place the food is mediocre at best. This has nothing to do with the CL which I reiterate is excellent. Thank you for a lovely stay.
