Why stay here ...

Tynant is a small quiet site with generous size pitches. We are situated on the outskirts of Llandrillo with views of the Berwyn range and the beautiful Upper Dee Valley. It is a great base for walking, cycling, fishing and mountain biking or if you prefer, relax in the tranquillity of the surrounding countryside. Our site offers electric hookup, a fresh water tap, discharge point and waste disposal.

Our local village Llandrillo which is less than a mile away has a village shop, a pub which serves excellent food and beers, the Berwyn a small family run restaurant again serving excellent fair and a few hundred yards out of the village Tyddyn Llan a Michellin star restaurant voted best in Wales 2015.

Our location in the heart of North Wales is within easy reach of Llangollen home of the International Eisteddfod, canal and steam railway. Eight miles west of Tynant you will find Bala which has the largest natural lake in Wales with plenty of things to do from a picnic by the lake to adrenalin fuelled white water rafting. Also on our doorstep is the Snowdon Mountain range where you will find Zip World the longest ride in Europe and the fastest in the world.

On your arrival please choose a pitch to suit and I will come and welcome you once you have settled. As I work as an electrician sometimes I might not be able to take you’re call immediately but I will get back to you as soon as I can. Looking forward to your stay with us, Dafydd.

Any negatives out of 'our' control. Wrong place at wrong time.

Decided I wanted a bit of peace and quiet for New Year, and this looked ideal. It was, but the weather had other ideas. Probably the windiest and wettest NY since records began, which is absolutely NO reflection on the owner or his site whatsoever. Partly my fault, as the forecast was a bit grim tbh, but thought, nah, it'll be exagerrated. It wasn't. Just be aware when you arrive NOT to go past the field entrance, as turning around at the top of the lane is not easy. My fault again I suppose, but it was nearly dark in my defence. Thanks to Dafydd for helping me get the caravan of the sodden field upon leaving. I need to come back when things have dried out a bit.

Peaceful CL in great walking area

Tynant
A quiet cl with EHU and water on each pitch. Levelling ramps were needed. The nearest pub is within walking distance but it was a bit undulating walk! The owner was chatty and happy to advise on things to do in the area. The area has great walks, some of which can be done from the site. Details in the hut on site.

Beautiful location - one of the best CLs

Tynant
Dafydd has created a small and simple CL in a stunning location - fabulous views, walking distance to an excellent pub in Llandrillo, all pitches have water tap and EHU, plenty of space, easy access onto site and well-drained. Also very easy to check availability and book via their online system. We will be back!
