Just three miles south of the cathedral city of Truro with its excellent shopping centre, restaurants, museum and theatre, Carnon Downs Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite offers 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds with spacious pitches, backed by hedges and flowering shrubs. The nearby village of Carnon Downs is charming and peaceful, with a mini market, garden centre and fruit farm. Nearby Truro offers a Cathedral and weekly Farmers Market. The campsite is also located close to Loe Beach, which offers water sports tuition and hire and Falmouth is just a short distance away with its natural harbour, maritime museum and beaches. After a hard day's fun, there are three inns within walking distance of the site to satisfy any appetite.
The Carnon Downs Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite is an excellent base to explore the beauty of Cornwall. Wonderful walks can be enjoyed on and from the campsite, with the River Fal and the creek side hamlets of Penpol and Devoran just a short stroll away.
