A popular caravan site in Warwickshire, The Warwick Racecourse Club Campsite is set on a grass and tarmac enclosure within the grounds of the racecourse itself and is a mere 15 minute walk from the town centre of Warwick. Conveniently located a mile away from the M40 motorway, the caravan park gives you easy access to a large variety of fun activities, from lovely walks and a 9-hole golf course to a driving range with an area for flying model aircraft and gliders. You can also enjoy a lovely walk along the Grand Union Canal at picturesque Hatton Locks and perhaps stop for refreshments at the Hatton Lock Café.
Adjacent to the Warwick Racecourse Club Campsite you will find the historic Hill Close Victorian Gardens (admittance charge), which act as a gateway to the town centre. The award-winning Warwick Castle is also within easy reach of the caravan site and is a must-see as it's reputed to be the finest medieval castle in England. Another place in the area that is well worth the visit is pretty Stratford-upon-Avon - here you can walk the superb Heritage Trail, take the fascinating Shakespeare Story Tour Bus and visit the world famous theatre. You might also like to visit Birmingham or Leamington Spa, accessible by train, which offer a great mix of both high street and boutique shops.

Directions
Leave M40 at junction 15. At the roundabout follow the A429 towards (Warwick). In 1 mile turn left at the Racecourse sign into Shakespeare Ave. In 300 yards at the T-junction turn right onto A4189 Hampton Street. Do not take the first Racecourse entry gate, carry on Hampton Street and turn left into Bread and Meat Close. Go straight over the Racecourse to the site entrance. For other approaches- follow the Racecourse signs through and round the town, some signposts from Henley-in-Arden. Look for Hampton Street and then Bread and Meat Close. Note: towing through High Street and Jury Street is not recommended.

Events at Warwick Racecourse
Please plan to arrive and check in on site a day or more before a race event as we are unable to accept arrivals on the day. If you are leaving the site on a raceday, you can do so by 10:00am on day meets and by 12:00noon on evening meets. During race times no vehicle movement is allowed. Dogs are also welcome on race days but please kindly keep them on a lead.

Love this site
Warwick Racecourse Club Campsite
We love this site as easy to access, walking distance to Warwick and the canal. Facilities are small but adequate and the staff are really friendly and helpful. 2nd visit and we will be back

Warwick Racecourse Club Campsite
3 night stay on way to south coast, been before but will definitely be back for more stays.
Not all sites are the same and some are less new than others but it was spotless, an absolute dog heaven, fancy trying it over a race meeting too.
2 miles from M40 and as a caravanner we were in minority it full of kamper a and Motorhomers I suppose as you can walk into the town easily.
Our stay was affected due to water issue which led to the facilities being closed for a long period but we managed and I have to say the wardens Steve & Sal went above and beyond to try to resolve this (out of their control) and the CAMC seniors should be aware of this!
This said site is spotless, well maintained. Negative comments about the site on here are abundant but in my opinion it’s a lovely, quirky site, that I can’t wait to visit again. So what if TV signal isn’t the same as at home there’s nothing in anyway! Accept some pitches may be tight for big modern motor homes but really…….

Warwick Racecourse Club Campsite
Stayed for 1 night as a stopover. Had a non-awning pitch alongside the racecourse on the tarmac area. Clean and well maintained site. Great walks for our dog along the side of the racecourse, up by the golf course and around the back of the site.

Great walks just outside the site. Parkrunners staying on site for the Saturday morning run. Helpful and sociable wardens and all seemed clean and well cared for. Poodles will be back.
Excellent site
Warwick Racecourse Club Campsite
Only stayed for two nights 24/6/24, excellent site and extremely clean. Wardens very helpful and friendly. Close to town with lots to see but only two days so will have to go back. Main reason for choosing this site was to have a hab service carried out on our motorhome at spinner which is about 4 miles away, was so glad to have chosen this site and would loved to have spent more time there.
