Aberdeenshire Club Campsites

Explore Scotland’s natural beauty

Aberdeenshire is home to the country's largest national park, the Cairngorms. With miles of unspoilt coastline, sand dunes, cliffs and moors, Aberdeenshire is the perfect destination for a caravan or motorhome holiday.

The main rivers are Dee, Deveron, Don, Ugie and Ythan which are designated freshwater fish areas. You’ll also find a number of lochs nearby, such as Loch Tummel and Lock Muick – ideally situating you for a waterside stroll. You won’t struggle to find your share of breath-taking scenery, granite towns and slate-roofed villages while visiting one of our Aberdeenshire campsites.

History, culture and family activities

Places to visit include Crathes Castle, where you’ll be able to take in a wealth of history amid the walled garden, turrets and castle walls; and Haddo House, the stately home of the Gordon family for over 400 years. Take in one of the many distilleries, play a round of golf at the Royal Aberdeen Golf Club or watch traditional Highland Games.

For something different, consider a safari tour of Scotland’s wild hills, or explore the region as part of our Scottish tours. There are plenty of ways to experience Aberdeenshire, whether you’re heading away on a family holiday or as a couple.

The winter snow at the Lecht and Cairnwell can be excellent for skiing and after an après-ski ceilidh, the night skies provide ideal conditions for star gazing and admiring the Northern Lights.

Every first Sunday and Monday in August the Turriff Agricultural Show at the Haughs Turriff which is the largest annual event in Aberdeenshire.
