Very well situated Club Site just 5-10 mins walk to the Village.You can see why this site is so popular,being within the bowl of the Peaks. Walking to Mam Tor via Hollings Cross and back via Cave Dale,possible straight from site.(We did this walk in reverse of all walking books instructions!) Did the 4 Cave walk via Winnats Pass with amazing scenery.Excellent Pubs and Restaurants in Village especially the George with large garden all laid out nicely for the Covid rules ,having a pint watching the para sailers above Mam Tor,on a sunny warm September afternoon. Stanage Edge and Burbidge Rocks another lovely walk,but had to drive the short distance there. We have just left enough to do on another return visit.
