A lived-in, supposedly haunted Elizabethan country house with Cromwellian associations. Chavenage has often been used as a TV location, featured as Trenwith House in the popular BBC series Poldark, also recently seen in the 2020 film Emma. There's a coffee shop which is open every day from 8:00am to 4:00pm throughout the year.
