Important booking information

Members are able to book UK sites online or by telephone. When you are ready to make a booking, please have the following details to hand:

  • membership number
  • caravan/motor caravan/trailer tent overall length in metres/feet
  • name of site
  • site booking code
  • arrival/departure dates
  • requirements for awnings
  • expected time of arrival

Please be aware that some sites become fully booked for peak periods soon after the first booking date.

Payment

You can pay for stays on Club sites with cash, Mastercard or Visa credit/debit card. Payment is made on arrival at site. Please check methods of payment with Affiliated sites at the time of booking. Affiliated sites may require payment or a deposit at the time of booking.

Amendments and cancellations

Please log in to view your UK sites bookings. Once logged in, you can amend or cancel your bookings online. Cancellations and amendments can also be made by calling the advance booking telephone line on 01342 327 490 or direct with the site in question.

Members unable to take up their bookings are asked to give as much notice as possible when cancelling, with a minimum of 72 hours before their arrival date/time, this will be calculated from 12 noon on your arrival date. This will enable other members to book that pitch. Members who cancel inside 72 hours, or fail to turn up at a booked pitch, three times during a calendar year will be contacted by The Club and may forfeit their ability to book for 14 days - any forward bookings may also be cancelled. Persistent late cancellations/non-arrivals may result in membership suspension.

Please remember to check cancellation and refund policies with Affiliated sites at the time of booking as these may vary from Club owned and managed sites.

Leaving site early

We understand that members sometimes wish to leave site earlier than originally planned. However, we do ask that in these instances a minimum of 72 hours notice is provided to the wardens of your intention to leave site early. This enables us to offer the pitch up to other members who wish to book the site. Failure to do so will incur a charge of one site night. 72 hours will be calculated from midday.

Please remember to check cancellation and refund policies with Affiliated sites at the time of booking as these may vary from Club owned and managed sites.

Duration of stay

Bookings can be made for a maximum of 21 nights at any one site. Bookings for more than 21 nights received by post will be reduced at the end of the booked period.

Tent bookings

At sites where tents bookings are permitted, Members are able to make tent bookings via the website or by calling the site direct.

Touring holidays

If you are booking a touring holiday (a holiday that includes more than one Club site) we suggest you use the advance booking telephone service for ease.

Special requests

Whilst we are unable to guarantee special requests or specific pitches in advance, you should contact the Warden at least 14 days before you are due to arrive with your request and they will do their very best to assist you on arrival.

Arrival times

You can arrive on Club sites from 12 noon on your day of arrival (please be aware there are a small number of sites with later arrival times due to narrow access roads and entrances). If you have booked a pitch and intend to arrive after 6pm, please inform the Warden. If you do arrive late and stay on the late night arrivals area, the per capita fee must be paid, but not the pitch fee.

Late night arrivals

Arrivals must be before 8pm, unless you have made a prior arrangement with the Warden. If you arrive late and stay on the late night arrivals area, the per capita fee must be paid, but not the pitch fee (please be aware these pitches may or may not have electric hook up - contact the site direct for this information).
