Day 1 – Arrival at Grubhof (G04)
Grubhof is located in a picturesque setting with the Alps rising in the background. Once you’ve settled into the campsite, meet your fellow members and Tour Hosts, and enjoy a welcome drink and three course dinner.
Day 2 – Boat trip on Lake Koenigsee
Cross the border into Germany and neighbouring Bavaria today. Relax on a boat trip on the crystal clear waters of Lake Koenigsee and visit the remarkable church of St Bartholomew on its western shore. Afterwards you will visit the small town of Berchtesgaden.
Day 3 – Free time at your leisure
You might want to explore more of the surrounding region on one of the excellent walking and cycling routes nearby.
Day 4 – Visit the impressive Krimml Waterfalls
One of Europe’s highest waterfalls, set in the stunning scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park, Krimml falls is a tiered waterfall consisting of three stages that plunge down the mountainside. This will be followed by a stop at the National Park Centre in Mittersill - an impressive visitor experience centre where you can learn about the extraordinary diversity of the Alps in a series of 'Nature Rooms', and experience 360° panoramas of this astonishing area.
