Days 1 - 5: Germany to Łeba

Day 1 - Arrival at Campingplatz Sonnenkap, Germany

Begin in the serene countryside north of Berlin. Join fellow tourers at a welcome meeting before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2 - Travel to Kołobrzeg

Cross the German-Polish border today and head to your next campsite on Kołobrzeg’s Baltic coast. The journey is relatively short so why not take the time and visit the city of Szczecin en route. As well as its palaces and market place, it’s a good place to stock up. Once settled at the campsite, why not enjoy an evening walk along Kołobrzeg’s waterfront or head into town?

Day 3 - City tour of Kołobrzeg

Enjoy a guided tour of the beautiful city of Kołobrzeg, taking in its extensive beaches, leafy parks and spa heritage. Visit the Basilica of the Assumption, the lighthouse, and take a scenic tourist train ride. The afternoon is yours to relax. Transport is provided.

Day 4 - Travel to Łeba

Today, travel to your next campsite in Łeba. There are a few options of routes to get there, each offering possible stop-off for visits along the way.

Day 5 - Excursion to visit Łeba

Visit the UNESCO-listed Słowiński National Park, famed for its moving sand dunes, Baltic coast geology, and unique wildlife. Explore an open-air museum before enjoying a traditional Polish lunch. Transport is provided.

Days 6 - 13: Sopot to the Masurian Lakelands

Day 6 - Travel to Sopot

Pass through the picturesque Kashubian region with its lakes, forests, and historic monasteries. Why not stop in Kartuzy, the cultural heart of the Kashubs, before arriving in Sopot? There’s time to explore the beachside promenade or cycle into Gdańsk.

Day 7 - Guided excursion to Gdańsk, Sopot and Oliwa

Stroll along the Royal Route, explore the medieval port and see Oliwa’s baroque cathedral. Lunch is included on this trip, and transport is provided.

Day 8 - Free day to enjoy at your leisure

Enjoy a day at leisure in Sopot. Why not relax by the waterfront or take advantage of the local spa facilities?

Day 9 - Travel to Malbork

Settle into camp then walk over to Malbork Castle, the world’s largest brick fortress and former headquarters of the Teutonic Knights. Learn its fascinating history as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 10 - Travel to Elbląg

Settle into your campsite then walk into Elbląg for a guided tour and some sightseeing.

Day 11 - Coach excursion to Frombork

Travel to Frombork on Vistula Bay, final resting place of Copernicus. Visit the cathedral, observatory, and historic sites before returning for lunch.

Day 12 - Elbląg-Ostróda Canal trip

Your journey continues into Eastern Prussia, once part of the German Reich until 1945. Famous for its fertile landscapes and rich history, the region is also home to the Elbląg-Ostróda Canal — a unique feat of engineering with canals, lakes, inclines and locks. Experience its beauty first-hand with a scenic boat trip along this remarkable waterway.

Day 13 - Travel to Ruska Wieś

Travel to your next campsite today. On the way, why not explore the Masurian Lakelands with a visit to Święta Lipka’s baroque basilica, a famed pilgrimage site rooted in a legendary miracle.

Days 14 - 21: Ruska Wieś to Kraków

Day 14 - Guided visit of Masurian lakeland including boat trip

Discover more of the Masurian Lakelands, visiting the summer towns of Giżycko and Mikołajki, and enjoy a relaxing boat tour in the Land of a Thousand Lakes. Transport is provided.

Day 15 - Free day with a barbecue dinner in the evening

Relax in the countryside, explore locally, or visit the WWII Wolf’s Lair. End the day with a Polish barbecue.

Days 16 - Travel to Warsaw

Drive to the outskirts of Warsaw to your next campsite, with stops for shopping or sightseeing. Public transport is nearby for easy travel into the city.

Day 17 - Guided tour of Warsaw

Enjoy a guided city tour which takes in the Palace of Culture and Science, the Old Town, and the Jewish Quarter. Lunch is included, with free time to explore afterwards. Transport is provided.

Day 18 - Free day to enjoy at your own leisure

Spend another day discovering Warsaw at your own pace with museums, music, or simply relaxing.

Day 19 - Travel to Kraków

Arrive in Kraków, Poland’s former capital, with an optional detour to Wieliczka Salt Mine. Known for its art and history, it’s a cultural highlight of the trip.

Day 20 - Guided tour of Kraków

Tour Kraków’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, including Wawel Hill, the cathedral, and the market square. Lunch and transport is included.

Day 21 - Free day to enjoy at your own leisure

Enjoy free time to explore Kraków’s museums, riverfront, and historic streets at your own pace.

Days 22 - 25: Auschwitz to Wrocław

Day 22 - A visit to Auschwitz

Travel to your next campsite and settle in before your next excursion. This afternoon can only be described as a profoundly moving experience. Once the largest concentration camp established during WW2, today Auschwitz stands as a memorial and museum, preserving the memory of those who suffered and died here during the Holocaust.

(Given the highly sensitive nature of the events that occurred here, there is an opt-out for anyone who feels unable to make this visit).

Day 23 - Travel to Wrocław

Make your way from Krakow to Wrocław today and settle into your last campsite of the tour.

Day 24 - Guided tour of Wrocław

Travel into the city by tram for a guided city tour of the cathedral, university, and main square, with lunch in the Town Hall. An evening farewell drink concludes this amazing tour.

Day 25 - Depart Campsite

It’s time to bid farewell to your fellow tourers.
