Due to Essential Utility Asset works between 22 April till 3 May there will be traffic disruption on Ashwell Street/Station Road (in either directions), leading up to the Site. There is access for all the residents but there may be delays'.
Due to essential power supply maintenance being carried out in the local area there will be intermittent power outages on site from 13 May for 5 days.
The site is currently experiencing issues with the water heating systems, resulting in limitations of hot water at peak times. Please be aware when using the facilities at peak times, which are generally between 09:00 - 10:30 and late afternoon.
The AJ Bell Great Bristol Run is due to pass this site on Sunday 19 May. Cumberland Road will be closed to all traffic from 8:45am until after 2:45pm so there will be no access on/off the site during this time. See here for further information on this event.
The Bristol Triathlon is on Sunday 2 June 2024 and involves a closed-road bike race. Access on and off site, along Cumberland Road will be available but, during this race, the roads to the West of Cumberland Basin and onto the A4 Portway towards The Clifton Suspension Bridge will be closed to traffic until 12noon. There will be high levels of pedestrians and traffic in the area during this event so please drive carefully and pre-plan your site departure route. (Do not turn left out of the campsite due to the Bus Gateway where fines are levied if you pass through this heading East.)
Due to the introduction of a one-way Bus Gate near site, please ensure you review the driving directions on the "Map" tab on the site's webpage before you exit this campsite.
The Bristol Clean Air Zone covers the central part of Bristol between Bristol Temple Meads Station and the A3029, including Cumberland Road and Baltic Wharf Club Campsite. Click here for more information.

The A2100 off the A21 into Battle is closed due to a landslide, a diversion is in place to continue along the A21 until you get to Marley Lane.
The New Forest and Hampshire County Show will be taking place on the 30th and 31st July, and 1st August 2024. This will increase traffic volumes along Aldridge Hill which is the access road to our campsite which is narrow with limited passing places. To avoid peak traffic periods of oncoming vehicles, please avoid arriving between 4-6 pm, and for departures we suggest leaving site between 10am - 12 noon. Late night arrival & parking areas are now key secured - prior arrangements must be made with the site to access these areas.
From Monday 29 April to Saturday 4 May the A39 will have overnight closures in place for highway maintenance between 7pm and 6am. Diversions will be in place. Outside of these times the road will be open as normal. There may be some noise but they aim to carry out the noisiest operations as early as possible.
Essential tree work will be taking place across the site throughout February.
The Yellow & Jubilee toilet blocks will be having a fresh coat of paint during April & May weather permitting.

House building works are taking place on the field adjacent to the site which may generate noise and dust throughout the 2024 season.
Due to a boiler failure, the central facility block on site has had to be closed. This includes the site's accessible facility. The site is pending engineers to resolve the problem but the West side block will be available for site guests use.
During quieter occupancy periods, and in order to be as efficient as possible from a financial and sustainability perspective, please be advised that the facility block located to the West side of the site may not be in use. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, however the remaining block will be available with respective full facilities.
Following the installation of the upgraded Wi-Fi at our Chatsworth Park Club Campsite, there have been some technical issues which is affecting the quality of the on-site Wi-Fi. The provider continues to work on this and we hope to have it resolved soon. In the meantime, access to Wi-Fi may be limited.

The Royal Agricultural University will be holding their annual Summer Ball on Friday 17 May between 7pm-7am. The students will be celebrating with live music acts, DJ's and fairground rides. You may hear the music and crowd noise during this student celebration.
All Club campsite guests will be provided with free pedestrian access into neighbouring Cirencester Park. From Spring 2024, a pass will be provided per pitch at check-in (upon request), allowing free access to the park for the duration of your stay. As park access cards are the property of Bathurst Estates, there will be a £10 cash security deposit per pass, refundable upon return to the site office staff.
Due to the ground conditions, the grass car park at site is unavailable for use. Visitors and/or pitches with extra cars will need to use the pay and display car park at The Old Kennels within Cirencester Park at GL7 1XU. For more information on the car park facilities click Here.
Many exciting events are held in the neighbouring estate grounds during the year. For further information and maps for Cirencester Park, and to book tickets at events open to the public please visit the Bathurst Estates website. Please note that on event dates, traffic levels along the access road will increase and access to areas within the estates grounds, including dog walk areas, may be restricted. During some events, amplified music/tannoy volumes may be heard on site.

The adverse weather conditions over the winter has delayed the installation of the new play area equipment in our Black Rock play area. We are working to get this area open as soon as possible for our younger visitors, hopefully by 1st May.
Until 2025 roadworks are taking place along the A1 at Gateshead which will affect traffic to and from the site. Please follow the diversion in place, expect increased journey times and refer to online traffic alerts and the National Highways website for up to date information.
The TV aerial booster system on site is currently experiencing some issues.
Please be aware that building work is taking place adjacent to the site entrance which may cause some noise.
On the 24 April the accessible toilet/shower cubicle is having a new boiler installed and will be closed for the day.
Scottish Water will be carrying out work to their pipe network in the Country Park. Fencing will be erected in advance with the work due to start at the end of April/beginning of May. During the works there will be construction activities and vehicle movement within the park but work areas will be securely fenced off and should not affect the site too much. Pedestrian walkways will be maintained as much as possible but there will be periods during the work when they will have to close some sections. Work is expected to last approximately 3 months.
Unfortunately due to very wet weather conditions we are currently unable to accept any Motorhome bookings on grass pitches at present due to the current ground conditions.
This site can suffer from occasional electricity supply outages. Upon the event of this occurring, site staff will be aware and will rectify it as quickly as possible.
Due to The Gatwick Run on Sunday 12 May 2024, please note the following changes to site access that day: Charlwood Road is closed from 10.30 through to 13:45. During this time, access to and from the site will only be possible between between 08:00-08:30 and 11:00-13:00. Access will only be possible to/from the East, so guests will not be able to approach or depart via Charlwood village or Bonnets Lane. Touring arrivals that day should aim to arrive no earlier than 14:00 to allow time for guests to depart who have been held up with the road access changes.
The late night arrival area is grass with no electricity and only available in an emergency. Please call the site before using as this is not available in heavy rain, icy or snowy conditions.
The site will remain closed until 24 May 2024 when part of this popular site will reopen offering a non facility/service point only experience (with a 20% price discount to reflect this from 24 May-14 August) before the site, with its new facilities block and other improvements, is expected to fully reopen from 15 August 2024.

When entering Grafham Village you may have an eye out for signs directing you to our site. Please note that one of these has been knocked over and we suggest you rely on your navigation system.
The children's play area at this site has been closed permanently.
The pizza van that used to visit this site on Fridays and Sundays will no longer be doing so. Pizzas will still be available for purchase in the village nearby.

The annual Henley Festival will be held on 10-14 July inclusive and includes some headline acts. For more information and tickets, please click Here. Noise from the fireworks can be heard on site from around 10:30pm for about half an hour.

Due to a cable fault, the TV booster system is out of operation in some areas but is available in select locations on site.
For safety reasons the bus stop directly outside the site has been removed by the local council. The nearest bus stop is now outside Looe Bay, a 2 minutes walk away.
The swimming pool is now closed for the season and will reopen in May 2024.
There will be extensive electrical works taking place on site from Monday 20 - Thursday 23 May. This will result in some site wide power outages. The intermittent power outage will be approx 2 hours over each morning.
From Monday 29 April to Friday 31 May there will be a road closure affecting access to Modbury Campsite. There will be diversions in place but this is lengthy and approximately 20 miles. From 1 - 30 June temporary traffic lights will be in place.

If traveling from South via A1 take the A696 Ponteland and Airport Junction stay on A696 and turn off right at the KnowesGate hotel crossroads (do not take the turning on to the B6342 signed for Wallington and Cambo as its not suitable for Caravans and large vehicles) at T junction turn left onto B6342 and stay on this road until you come to site entrance on Right shortly after Fontburn Reservoir (W3W: ///Renewals.Blasted.Pint)

Old Hartley Club Campsite will be closing at the end of 2023 season and will undergo a major refurbishment over the winter period. This site will have a delayed provisional reopening date of 5 July 2024 (subject to completion of works).
Please be aware that there may be some noise from the neighbouring property due to building works.
The Menai Bridge linking Anglesey and North Wales is open to traffic up to 7.5 tonnes.
Roadworks are currently being carried out on the A375 with some closures, it is however open up to The Hare & Hound pub and access to the site is unaffected.

The Seaside Weekend will be taking place in Victoria Park on Friday 7 June to Sunday 9 June. Loud music is expected on these dates and will affect most of the site from 14:00-23:00.
The Park and Ride facility close to the Site is no longer operating, the car park is now Pay and Display only.
The Council has reinstated double yellow lines on both sides of the road outside the site the length of 'The Esplanade'.
Please follow signs to Whitesands Beach and Lleithyr Meadow. Do not follow signs for Lleithyr Farm as the Sat Nav suggests.
The open air swimming pool opens on 27 May. The pool is open every Wednesday for late night swimming from 10.00pm to midnight from 8 July to 21st August so some noise may be heard.
There is live music every Saturday between 3.00-4.00pm.
The Leisure Centre is currently undergoing refurbishment and is due to be finished mid-summer. Whilst this work may not be underway every day, there is likely to be some noise disruption on the days when work is active.
The Tewkesbury Medieval Festival on 13-14 July is the largest free medieval re-enactment and fayre in Europe. Notice to dog owners: Incidents of dogs falling ill following a visit to the woodland on the Sandringham Estate can be reported between the months of August and November. This is not specific to the Club site but dog owners should be aware and take precautions when visiting the woodland area around the site. The A59 road between Harrogate and Skipton is closed until further notice to carry out essential emergency roadworks. There is no diversion in place so please plan your journey before leaving home as some roads may not be suitable for Caravans and Motorhomes.
The annual Boomtown Music Festival will be held in the Matterley Estate on 7th-11th August. This festival features an eclectic array of music genres and is for adults over the age of 18. This festival attracts a large audience so please be aware of higher traffic volumes than normal in this area. You may also hear the festival at times from the site. The County Council are now enforcing No Parking on Station Road outside our site. Please do not arrive and park outside the site before 1pm as you may be issued a parking ticket.

Please note: this Club campsite is situated within York Flood Defense boundaries. If river levels rise, the Environmental Agency close the flood barriers to protect local housing. When the Environmental Agency take the decision to activate the defense it is often at short notice and York Rowntree site has to be evacuated. The access road to the site is inaccessible and the site is also likely to be affected by flooding during these events.
