Oswestry Certificated Locations

Oswestry is located on the English and Welsh border and has played a turbulent role in history.

The town has a heritage centre which is housed in a former school building and is worth a visit, especially to see the wide variety of local arts and crafts on display.

Most of the centre of Oswestry has been designated as part of a Conservation Area and it is easy to see why. There are several old timber framed houses, including Llywd Mansion on Cross Street and the Fox Inn. In addition, the influence of the Victorian age is evident, with many of the shop fronts having features typical of the period.
