WILL NOT BE GOING BACK

Bodnant Welsh Food
This site was described as tranquil, the reality is that the access road for the farm shop & pub runs along the edge of the camping field & the site is about 20 yards from a main A road, the traffic noise was constant. i was offered an alternative camping location next to the facilities but this resembled a builders yard with a bit of fly tipping thrown in. Upon arrival at the farm shop nobody new what was going on & they only seemed interested in taking my money. The facilities are a 0.4 mile round trip from the site up a steep hill, so i had to collect water & empty my toilet using my car. The site black waste tank was full to the brim causing serious splash back issues when emptying my loo, i complained about this, but it still hadn't been emptied when we left 5 days later, also there wasn't a tap to rinse your black waste tank out with so suspect people had been using the drinking water tap to do this with. Very surprised the club allows sites like this to be registered with them, definitely the worst site we have ever been on.

A bit confusing!

Bodnant Welsh Food
No signs where to park, so saw another Motorhome at the top car park, so assumed that was where we we were supposed to park, not vey inviting, went into Farm shop, although had booked by we were not on the list. Water and chemical disposal was where we parked, but we thought this cannot be right, went back to restaurant as shop now closed, 4pm Sunday, pointed us to the overflow car park, looked like gate locked but no ok. Told the other Motorhome where we were supposed to park, but they opted to stay where they were. Water etc quite away from pitch. Next door to Bodnant Gardens, Nat Trust, well worth a visit, close to Conway, Penryn castle not far Had breakfast in the tea rooms, very good Need to sort signage and perhaps provide details of facilities, as confusing, also no tap direct by chemical waste disposal, drinking water tap probably used for rinsing Overlooks water but could see due to trees
