Whilst this site has a great water park  and is near the beach, the sheer size makes it more like a small town than a camp site.We visited in August when queues were the norm - 45 minutes to check in on a Tuesday afternoon set the standard.Pitches are small and we were not able to park our 25 foot van on the site allocated.We were moved to a different pitch which we later learned was only used during peak season- understandable as it sloped both north south and east west. The soil was not compacted and as we parked there was quite a bit of wheel spin.The beach is only suitable for surfers or children under supervision and is quite a walk dependent on where your pitch is. The nearby town of Le Vieux Bacau is only a 10 minute walk from the site and offers alternatives to the onsite restaurant and pizzeria - which was OK- whilst the Super U is about a 10 minute walk in the other direction and offers an alternative to the on site SPAR, which was also OK. The site staff were generally unfriendly, the site is not well marked out and the mixture of cars,bikes,scooters, skateboards and swegways is a constant accident waiting to happen.

We thank you for your comment and your stay on our campsite. We wanted to provide some answers to your comments. We are surprised that you waited 45 minutes for a check in with an arrival on a Tuesday as our arrivals during this period are made on Saturdays and Sundays only. For your commentary about the sandy pitch we recall you that we are on the seafront. We are very surprised that we have assigned you a pitch at the site that did not correspond to your expectations we always try to satisfy our customers. In terms of distance to the sea you are on a campsite of 1549 pitches so of course some will be further away than others from the beach. As far as the bathing, the beach is monitored but you are on the Atlantic ocean with the dangers that it can include and we can not change anything there unfortunately. Finally, with regard to possible accidents, all these means of locomotion have cohabited for several years and we have never had to deplore an accident. We make sure with improvements to reduce the speed of vehicles.  We hope you will have a change of mind and maybe come back for another staying in our campsite.
