Winter stopover

We had planned to stay here on our first and last night in Spain. However, due to a very violent storm on our way out, the ferry was running several hours late. I contacted the site via its website from the ship to tell them we would be arriving late. It was fortunate that I did as they replied that the access road from the north had been cut by flooding and the site could only be accessed by a very complicated, 70 km , diversion. We carried on to what would have been our second stop. I got in touch with the site to ask what the position was for our return leg. The owner gave me timings when the road was being opened each day and we finally got there for our last night. He couldn't have been more helpful. Put us onto our pitch, hooked up the electrics (didn't fasten the box so that we were able to unplug ourselves and get under way in the morning.) Toilet block was immaculate with abundant hot water and showers which allowed you to adjust the temperature. The only small disappointment was that there was no toilet seat in the disabled loo, but this may have been an oversight at the beginning of the season. If returning to the area we would definitely stay here again and take more time to explore a very beautiful valley.
