Stayed here for 5 night in mid February. 6a electric is a bit tricky to manage at this time of year (we had snow and frosty cold weather). You basically have 1440w of power at your disposal. Therefore you can run your heating at 1000w with just enough 'headroom' to allow tv, lighting and battery charger to run also, but obviously not the water heater, microwave, kettle etc at the same time so as we found you will need to do a lot of juggling of power use - not difficult but a bit annoying. Why not offer 10a electric supply for a few euros extra as it would make life a lot easier in cold weather!
However, nice flat site with quite sandy soil (well drained), all pitches under large tree cover which we quite like. Pitched arranged in small 'fields' so feels like a small site even though it is quite big. Washrooms clean and fairly modern and warm. Showers are to be paid for at 50c per go. Plenty of wash basins and a couple of wash cubicles as well. Lots of facilitiles which are closed in low season (fair enough). Bar was open but everything else in winter mothballs. Great for us - the site was almost empty so no noise excepting for a little road noise (not intrusive but noticeable).
Site location great for exploring the local area. Fast road network within minutes of site main gate so easy travelling. Lots to do and see including Burges zoo, national park, Arhmen, Nijmegen to mention just a few.
Staff on site very helpful and speak great English. Although quiet in low season, looked as if it could be quite lively in holiday season. Plenty to amuse young ones on site including a decent playground.
Overall, a decent site with realistic pricing, good location and an overall friendly feel and appearance. We have stayed here twice now and would not hesitate to rebook in the future.
