Would not return

Arrived on this site 24 June and it was a nice quiet site with decent showers toilets and friendly staff We were booked in for 3 weeks. After the 1st week groups of youths arrived and the noise started. Discos almost every night until after midnight, loud music during the day for different activities on the site. The road noise which we had coped with before became an issue and the showers full of youths shouting Absolute hell until we left ! Obviously a good site out of season but very noisy during high season. Not a good site for oldies so would not return.  Also to be noted is the site 240v points are french 2 pin connections so an adaptor is needed

Noisy!

I stayed here for 4 nights from 4th July to 8 July. I would not return. The noise from morning until night was dreadful. There was music blaring from morning entertainment, through to afternoon swimfit sessions and then discos in the evening. Contrary to the previous review the curfew was not maintained and every night the music went on until midnight and we then had to endure the shouting/ screaming of youngsters returning from the toilets, for which we were pitched on a main toilet thoroughfare! Even though it was not peak season when we came to shower in the evenings the showers were full, mostly again with youngsters who remained in there for ages, so we had to use our own shower in the caravan. There is no toilet paper in the toilets at all..as in none so you have to take your own! The electric was reverse polarity...all in all not a good stay. We found the swimming pool untenable, just way to small to swim in. If you tried you were liable to be dive bombed on or hit with someone playing ball games. The indoor pool was a little better but also became overun with children on occasions who couldn't fit in the outside one. Best thing about pool was the waterslide which was good fun and warm. Definately would not return.

Excellent site with good amenities

This site was like a sexed up UK Caravan Club site. Very well done. Pitches were large and all screened with shrubbery. Even the grass was green and not burnt out as is common in France. Very good site and strongly recommended. The "animations" were just starting up when we left on 6 July. They were professional and good quality. The late evening noise curfew was well managed and caused no disturbance. All staff friendly and helpful. Slight negatives were that the entrance was like an obstacle course with permanently parked cars adjacent to the entrance and huge plant pots just to make it worse. Why? This was OK with a car but with caravan attached precision was needed to avoid the obstacles. The water taps were press button which drive you mad when trying to fill an aquaroll. No restaurant but there is a Snack shop which we did not try. Large and adequate bar with ice cream. Alimentation shop is basic but meets needs. Casino large supermarket is 2Km away with very cheap fuel. Quality of goods is similar to UK Asda. (not Waitrose) Strongly recommended site. Four star standard was achieved. Whilst there we spoke to a lady who said that she was a Caravan Club inspector!
