Dangerous
We visited the site in August 2017 for 4 nights. The site was poorly kept and very dirty, complete neglect, there were leaves on the ground from the previous year that had never been removed and hedges that had not been groomed, we could of course live with this. However, we were presented with a pitch that had a nest of wasps under the caravan(due to leaves remaining). We were moved to another pitch and we were told that they have a big problem with wasps this year (due to no cleaning I should think) The next pitch was 60m from the electric point, so I had to drape my electric lead over the road, by the end of the stay it was ripped to shreds.The electric/lighting points were held together with tape and most of the plastic bulb covers were full of water. The smell of raw sewage was a little off putting, ok, it was the height of the season and busy, but the leakage from cess pits onto paths as they were so full was a little off putting, thank goodness we were not pitched next to that.
So caravan club, how can you possible give this site your safe approval due to electric and sewage issues. I have several pictures to prove this, alas we cant upload to the site.
I urge you not to visit this site.
