Site near the Med

This site is convenient for the med close to Nice, Cagnes sur Mer, Antibes, Cannes etc.  It is no more than 7 miles from the coast but up in the hills above the plains.  The site is very hilly & you need to be good at hill starts!  It is a lovely quiet site but has a swimming pool and activities laid on.  The sanitaire are clean, recently renovated.  The staff are very helpful and provide a very helpful in-brief of all the site facilities and surrounding area on a Sunday.

Brilliant Little Site Virtually On French Riviera.

Its a long haul down but well worth it. Entrance road is steep but wasn't a problem for us. Excellent English spoken in office and shown choice of pitches (using electric golf cart!) and accepted B2 on lower tier. Quite roomy and with grass/hard standing and each pitch had own electric/water and waste disposal. Mature trees give excellent shade from the heat. Clean facilities - toilets/showers/laundry room. Small shop on site and bread cooked on the premises. Brilliant swimming pool - up to 2.20m deep and toddler pool. Restaurant on site that sells good value meals. Close to beaches at Cagnes and a little more travel to Antibes, Juan le Pins, Cannes, Nice and you must visit Monaco! Inland lots of places to see including the artist centre of St Paul. The whole Riviera is busy in June, not sure what it would be like in July/August but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

The site on the hill!

Quite a busy site in a very busy area. Seams to have been built on the side of a mountain! Because there is very limited room to park when you arrive, it was neccessary to stop on the very steep hill on the access road, bad mistake. Very nearly burnt cluth out trying to get going again, requiring the help of the staff to push the caravan at the same time as me attempting to move off. Never again. All pitches are devoid of grass, partly due to heat but also due to amount of trees. Ok, but felt a bit like a car park. At the bottom of the site there is quite a lot of road noise but the higher your pitch is the less obtrusive it becomes. Overall, the site is quite nice but with hindsight I would not choose as busy an area again.
