Stayed for two nights on return from Italy and an excellent choice for those enroute to/from places much further south. Very popular with Swiss families looking to enjoy the sunnier weather offered by Ticino. Pitches are on the small side, with tight access along the narrow roadways. Larger units would probably have to be sited well away from the lake. Lakeside is well managed with large grassy areas for sitting out or sunbathing. Safe bathing within a cordoned-off area of the lake and there is also an excellent pool which stays open well into the evening. Only criticism is that the site can be hard to find and is some distance from the town which can be inconvenient for motorhome users who don’t want to drive out.
